Feb 26, the trails are well groomed for walking with pup or biking … great park … please note, with all the ice over the past months the stairs of fire are slippery and covered with chunks of ice for footing difficulties … going up no problem but go slow coming down .. the river is thawing, time to stay off of it … great park!! Maps, washrooms, garbage cans, picnic tables, benches, even dog poop bags.. & extremely well groomed trails to enjoy
A beautiful river valley park. I had the opportunity to test out my new, waterproof ice gripper running shoes and my waterproof socks. I will be returning to this trail system regularly.
Great place to sneak away to for a couple hours of wilderness and beautiful clear water. Definitely can get away with smoking a few joints hassle free
This place is an absolute gem! I really wish I knew about it sooner. Super friendly for toddlers still in diapers. Bathrooms are a bit of a hike to get to. So expect to change lots of clothes with littles learning to use the potty or bring your own from home. Will definitely visit again!
Fun!!! I don't do anything social, ever. Like ever ever. So maybe by standards for excitement are low, but I think even if they are I'm sure they are, my dog and I had a blast coming here to hang out on the shore and touch our toes to the water. Super fun. Super close. And they have bathrooms, so...plus!
Such an awesome place … I feel like I came to know about this place a lil late… we enjoyed the stairs, the nature walk and the benches for a quick rest soo close to nature Monday hike was complete
I love going here ! Such a family friendly environment. The water seems okay to go in. My 10 year old daughter and younger niece enjoyed every bit of the water! Also have many picnic tables so that you can sit, eat, and stay all day! You can also bring chairs if you like if you perfer to sit closer to the main area by the water. You can also bring your floaties and boats! Washrooms are a 6/10 but out houses are never my thing! Hope yall enjoy!
One of the most beautiful and tranquil locations in the Edmonton Region. You can walk the trails; launch a boat, canoe, kayak, etc from the boat launch; splash around in the water; sit on the shore of the river; enjoy a picnic; and so much more! Don't forget to bring your bike and try out the Riverview Bike Park. There are firepits for the public to use as well as picnic areas. This beautiful park is also the beginning of the River Valley Alliance trail which will take you from Devon through Edmonton and finish in Fort Saskatchewan. Many events take place here, check Town of Devon website. Voyageur Park... A little bit of tranquil nature just minutes outside of Edmonton, in the beautiful Town of Devon!
Quiet and beautiful . Just a wonderful place to relax
Great place to relax and have some water fun with the family, about 40 to 45 minutes away from NE Edmonton. Kids love the place. Water is pretty shalow which allowed the kids to play in the water. We had picnic along the river side, which was great! There isnt many picnic tables so might as well bring your own or come early to secure a picnic table. But over all, an excellent experience!
