We were hungry and stumbled across this restaurant in Vaughan. Meals were really good. Mix Pakoda and Paneer tikka was tasty. We ordered Chaap initially but we didn’t like it so they changed it. I appreciate for it. Mains are also great and had fudge brownie at the end. We got lucky and got on the house rasmalai which was too good but not the gulabjamun.
Food was absolutely delicious - high quality ingredients and wonderful flavours. The service was super warm, friendly and attentive. My favourite dishes were the lamb korma and palak paneer, i also got served one of the best pieces of naan I’ve ever had. Seriously so good! Parking was easy. Highly recommend, and looking forward to going back!

I’m very surprised to find this place in the “heart” of Vaughan. On one hand, the food is great, flavours are nice and authentic, and overall the food is reasonably priced. On the other hand, I have been to many Indian restaurants before and the size of the dishes are definitely smaller than what I am used to seeing. Regardless, everything was tasty, the staff was very polite and I would definitely go there again.
Love the ambiance and courteous staff. One stop shop for authentic Indian cuisine. Chilly momos were delightful and Manchurian - fried rice reminded me of food back home. We had decided to try Desi Pakwan for the first time for my mother's Birthday. I was a bit nervous trying a new establishment but after reading the reviews I thought it was a good bet. This was place was beyond my expectations. The food was extraordinary, service was amazing and atmosphere was delightful. The fact you can choose your level of spice for each dish is fantastic as my family all has different levels of spice tolerance. One of the dishes butter chicken we had ordered came a bit more spicy than what my brother had requested. Our hostess noticed that he wasn't really eating it and came and asked if everything was alright. When he told her that it was spicer than what he had requested, she immediately took it back and brought him a fresh butter chicken dish. I can't speak more highly of my experience here today. I will definitely be coming more often, and sharing with friends and family.
We were the last ones to enter the restaurant as it was getting closed. However, the service was still very quick and efficient. We were assisted by Minesh and he was really quick with the service. The ambience of the place reminded us of India They have comfortable seating and good music. We ordered steamed chicken momos with two types of chutney which was fabulous. The momos ' quantity and taste was spot on ! We ordered manchow soup which came with fried noodles . The taste according to me was average. Next we ordered dragon chicken which was really tasty and the quantity was also good for three people. In the main course we ordered veg hakka noodles and in thr gravy we ordered chicken manchurian. The taste was just like the Indian chinese we like to eat. Overall, the experience was really nice and we had an amazing time. Recommended. 10/10 if you ever visit vaughan
We were a total of 5 and been there for dinner. We ordered hot and sour soup, the soup was fabulous with a balanced spice level, and the quantity was also good. Moving forward with starters with Dragon Veg Manchurian, the best indo-chini manchurian got me reminded of my hometown street style Manchurian. In Main course, we ordered Panner Tikka masala and Paneer lasuni which was speciality of Desi Pakwan along with garlic naan and tandoori roti. In side beverages, Mango shake and Lassi was very good. Overall, the food was nice and I would definitely recommend others to visit it once. Go and tell us how your food experience went. Thanks for reading it.
Amazing atmosphere. One the best tastes of Veg and non-veg starters you could find around there. They could still think of increasing the serving size of the curries by a little. But this thing wouldn't bring down my rating.Food: 5/5
