Des petits ventres came recommended by both a coworker of mine and acquaintances of my parents so we booked a reservation for 8 people for dinner there on a Thursday evening. They have an extensive patio that wraps around the building, as well as a street front patio. We had the escargots gratinee and the salad with warm goat cheese to start. Both were delicious. Even my 10 year old niece enjoyed the escargots. We were given bread and butter with our appetizers, which my family devoured. We also ordered the duck confit, the beef bourguignon, and beef braised in wine sauce. The latter was served with vegetables, kale and potatoes, whereas the former was served more like a stew in a bowl. The beef was very tender but probably could have done with a touch more salt and pepper. The kale was a touch too salty. The duck confit and the accompanying scalloped potatoes were absolutely delicious.
The food is delicious, the service is amazing. Everything we took was delicious. Don’t forget to make a reservation. Will definitely come back .
This is the best restaurant in Mont Tremblant The goat cheese fondue was unbelievable, and flavorful! Every single dish was perfect! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Thanks and see you next time!
Fantastic French dining with a relaxed but authentic country French ambiance. High marks for the duck confit, filet mignon, braised beef, and flank steak, and all the desserts. The prix fixe option is a very reasonable option. The staff and chef were high-touch and friendly, making sure everything was perfect and going beyond normal expectations... they even made a separate dressing from scratch for a salad for someone in our party with a nut allergy "just to be safe". Will definitely return!
Quaint French restaurant set in an old house that lead to the feeling that you are eating in someone's home. Came for the fondue, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in our party. The servers were genuinely friendly. Prices were fair. Small, but functional wine list.
Amazing dinner surrounded by a beautiful staff. I just bought a house in the area and this will be a go to place one a week at minimum. We were so warmly welcomed by Yannick, Pastis , Rebecca! And our bellies were full for a very reasonable price! Merci les amis!
Lady Waiter with blond hair was very rude, we felt rushed when ordering. When asking about the menu she did a poor job explaining we didnt feel welcomed by her. All the other staff were caring and generous. We came all the way from Toronto enjoying our little vacation with some friends. Food was good, service from this lady was garbage. Portion size for pasta for $19 is unreasonable but nonetheless was still good. Would not come back to this place or recommend it to others.
Great experience overall. Food was delicious and quality price is good. We will totally recommend this restaurant. We will definitely come back in our next visit. Robert, our waiter, was very friendly and always attentive. Thank you for this amazing experience!
I’m not one to make reviews, however, I had to make an exception for the POOR service and food that was received from this restaurant at the start. Firstly, I had made a reservation for 8 at least one day in advance, and when we arrived they would not seat us at a combined table for 8 due to restrictions which we understood and complied with. We were divided into 2 groups at separate tables. This would not have been an issue until they were able to combine tables for the group behind us. Our first group ordered followed by the second group. The food for the first group came out and the second group did not get their food for an additional 20 minutes. It took so long that the blonde waitress came to the table thinking we were done and asked us if we would like dessert THEN remembered we didn’t get our food yet. By the time our food arrived, the rest of our first table had finished eating. The duck confit, beef stew, and beef flank were all mediocre tasting. The best tasting was the chicken and mushroom and escargot. I ordered an entree and appetizer and was unaware that there was a special price for an appetizer, entree, and dessert included. I pointed at just 2 items I wanted, but was charged the special price, but they did not tell me about the dessert until I asked why I was overcharged. It was clear that we were not from around here because on the reservation, I asked if English menus were available and they responded with yes. Would NOT eat here again and do NOT recommend due to the poor service and food.
Excellent place. The service was timely and discreet. The food was delicious. All priced fairly. Wish we'd discovered the spot before our last night in town, but we'll be back. Special mention for the seafood linguini.
