I called Dependable Appliances to repair our old but trusty clothes dryer but it was , sadly, pronounced dead at the scene. I selected a used but completely refurbished unit of slightly newer vintage by the same manufacturer for a very good price and it was delivered a few days later. Cost was below half that of a comparable new one, either from Dependable or other popular sources, and the other sources did not seem to have any price advantage over Dependable's new units either. Delivery was more than worth its cost. I cannot recommend Dependable enough.
I called around 8:15 in the morning and John arrived before noon. He fixed a part in the dryer that might have been the problem, but when he checked and it still made the same squealing sound, he took the whole thing apart to try something else. He gave me time to vacuum out the dust, even assisting at one point. He rechecked and the sound was gone. John was courteous and efficient. I highly recommend this company.
a little bit of confusion when our appointment was cancelled and no one was notified. however, once they did arrive, the issue with our dryer was diagnosed quickly and for a reasonable price. the tech i spoke to was clearly knowledgeable.
Helped me out with my Samsung dryer issue. Offered sound advice and confidence to repair my dryer, on my own. Had all the parts I needed and offered further repair assistance, if I needed. Gentlemen I spoke with was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will absolutely return in the future.
So today I had Dependable Appliances over to give me a quote on fixing my clothes dryer.nnThis is how it went:nnShowed at my door without booking an appointment.nLooked at my dryer and informed me that I need a new heater and it would be $450.00nWent back out to the van and came back in with a bill for $124.30!!!nThe guy was here for 7 minutes.nnWhen a Kingston company scams our community like this, how are they still in business?!?
