-Has no problem knowing who to root for on game days.

-Served 9 years in the Navy Dental Corps.
-Graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry and the University of Washington Pediatric Dental Residency.
-Will root for the underdog between the Huskies and Hoosiers, which means she usually roots for Indiana.

I read all the reviews posted here. I've been taking my youngest here for over 2 years now. All the staff have been very wonderful to me and the other patrons that I witness interacting with the staff. I see poor and wealthy people here alike. All treated the same. Absolutely the best for skittish children for sure! One of the dentists reminds me of Crusty The Clown, over the top. But hey, it's for the children. Their opinion is what matters, not mine.

My daughter came to me for adoption at age 7. She had been in bad home situation, had PTSD and was very frightened of men in general. She also had multiple disabilities such as autism and ADHD that made it very hard for her to sit still or even be touched. Dr. Becker and his staff were nothing short of miracle workers! Every assistant and hygienist who has ever worked with her has been extremely, kind, gentle and patient. Dr. Becker was able to make her feel at ease almost at once. He explained things in a way that was easy for her to grasp and also appealed to her sense of humor. He never had an appointment go on longer than she could tolerate, and his dental work itself is excellent. The front desk staff is always pleasant, and there's never a sense that my daughter less welcome because her coverage is through Medicaid. She actually looks forward to her dental appointments!

I first went to Kitsap Kids, they were nice, but they just sent my daughter home in pain. Their appointments for repair for 2-3 weeks out, I called around and found Dentistry for Children, right down the street. They were amazing they let her play with toys at the office until she warmed up to the staff. They sent her home with a temporary filling until her appointment next week. They took a look at my price estimate from the other place and were like, "Holy Cow! Maybe it's time to raise our rates!;)" Way cheaper and quality! She saw both dentists in one day and asked my daughter which she preferred, "The second one!" she said.

All my littles love going to Dentistry For Children, there has never been any fussing when I tell them we are going to see Dr. Becker and the ladies at the dentist.

Wonderful experience, the dentist was clearly a "kid person," and he explained dental care and treatment to my kids in ways they understood (e.g. plaque "poops," on the teeth and that hurts them). He was also understanding of busy parents, and talked about realistic ways to improve my kids' dental health. I had no problems with the receptionists.
