This was my first time visiting Denny’s in Canada, and I had a great time with my bf. The service was nice, and I love hash browns. We were starving so we ordered steak and deep fried pork, but I think that was not a good idea to order these on a famous breakfast restaurant lol. Will definitely come back again and try other dishes!
Update: aside from good service, the food is just terrible. Overly greasy, no flavor, burnt, and have replaced brown sugar with a fake powdered substitute. Save your $$$ go elsewhere. Also, was given an old menu, and when the bill arrived, the price was different. After telling the waitress, she said they'd run out of new menu's with updated prices. However, she adjusted it. Definitely recommend double checking your bill with menu. Old menus should be recycled out, as the prices reflects what a customer pays. --- The colwood Denny's has gone so far down its gross. Booths are cracking and dirty. Menu doesn't have much for grain/gluten free. It has three salads. One waitress was expected to look after 7 tables all by herself, and she spread herself thin, which resulted in a frazzled bad attitude. Definitely needs another waiter/ress to help. Because of this, it was extremely slow service. Nachos hardly have any toppings. Cutlery was dirty. Definitely needing an upgrade/rejuvenation.
Had a Very Delicious 3 egg Veggie Loaded Omelet with Bell Pepper, Onions, and Mushroom and Great Flavored Coffee. This is a restaurant that we like to visit with my family on some weekends. We like the pancake menu which is available all day. Sometimes they take some time to prepare but usually the food is served in an appropriate time. Our waitress Tracy was super friendly and helpful. Breakfasts/Brunch is the main reason we visit Denny's as we have never tried other meals there.
Great service! Great breakfast! Poached eggs perfect! Bacon crispy. Coffee refilled often. Lots of selection on menu. Even had a milkshake! Prices are good. Only con is that the restaurant is a bit dated.
First time here, went for lunch. The service was quite slow, waited over half an hour. Not ideal if you need to go back to work. The pancake was also burnt. The staff replaced it though.Recommended dishesWings

The man who was working the til and making drinks the weekend of Jan 21, 2023, was amazing! We ordered pick up and added something to our order and he ensured ot was all ready at the same time. The food is always good at this location all the 6 times I've eaten here.Food: 5/5
Delicious food with excellent variety of food on the menu. Burgers, omelette are finger lickin good and milkshakes are truly irresistible. Staff is very courteous and service is exceptional. Please visit this restaurant if you haven’t been there yet. Vegetarian options: Quite a good vegan option. Kid-friendliness: Have high chairs and kids menu Parking: Ample parking space
