Cori was my waitress, very efficient. She was great on the check back. Communication with all the patrons was exemplary. Food was great also. We had breakfast, lunch and apps. All were hot when they reach the table with variety like that it can be tricky to keep somethings hot so, I say thank you for understanding timing.
The A/C and heat has been fixed since parts came in I guess. It is nice and warm inside now. The food is really good and I love looking at the goofy smiling faces of the people working here. It's almost like going to a Waffle House in the south. You get good hot food, hot fresh coffee and see the real housewives of america at the same time. I love to get a yummy nachos, iced tea and people watch. Love coming here to drop a deuce. Nice clean bathrooms.
Had an early dinner with old friends. Great food. Had a Super Bird myself, and 3 others had burgers . They said that they were excellent . My wife had the nachos . She didn't quite get through half the plate. Lots of food. Wait staff was excellent with service and very pleasant . We will be back. Parking: Lots of parking spots are available by the front door. Plenty available in the lot.
Amazing! Cook. I’ve stopped at several Denny’s across the nation. I used to get the sizzlin bourbon chicken skillet, but they changed the dish and it’s no longer good. I’m also trying to be more healthy. So I started getting the wild alaskan salmon. Everytime it’s been overcooked. Sometime to the point of needing a knife to cut it. i always told myself, “well, it is seafood at Denny’s. What should I expect?” But this Denny’s has a cook that knows what he’s doing. The Salmon was cooked PERFECTLY!!!! It was so most, tender and flavorful. Also, the mashed potatoes weren’t runny like at other Denny’s and the corn was cooked just as perfect. The bread was even perfect for once. This will be a constant stop on my nationwide travels now. Job well done, Chehalis Denny’s! Everything else was great also. Hospitality, service, waitress…It is just a well oiled machine.
We wanted a hot breakfast and warm up. Only to be denied service, was told that they were running approximately an hour late. We where ready to wait until they were serving breakfast. But did not get a chance. We feel that we did not fit the middle or higher class model that would be a good tipper. Was told good bye.not even able to get breakfast to go. Here is our tip now ..it will be a cold day in hell, before we ever eat there again... thanks but no thanks!
Tipping is NOT obligatory, it is a courtesy based on the level of service provided. After spending $119 for an order, it was unnecessary for the cook to come out and sarcastically say “thanks for the generous tip” I’m sorry….what am I tipping you for? I don’t tip for services not yet provided. So when I order online, I’m not going to tip you when you haven’t provided any service. Does adding a tip make a difference in the quality of food or service I receive? You’re paid an hourly wage….you don’t need to go pandering for tips. When the food is so greasy it soaks through the bread and taste like grill….is exactly why you didn’t get a tip. Threw away most of it. The sense of entitlement from your cook is frankly am embarrassment to your institution. Looks as though he doesn’t have very good hygiene as it is. Never wasting money here again. Jack N the Box across the way has better quality of food, and they don’t cry if you do t tip them….they just do the job they are already paid to do.
Wait staff is always happy. My girl and i enjoy meeting here for lunch when we get a moment away from work. Always enjoy the food and the gals serving us are quick and efficient.Food: 5/5
Food is very greasy and not cheap 61 dollars for 2 people you would probably get a better price and quality at McDonald's. Update we both got food posioningFood: 2/5
I think they are understaffed. Food took forever. Staff was super friendly but the food was only okay and took almost an hour to come out to us when we were extremely hungry on a road trip. I wish them the best but we won't be coming back.Food: 3/5
When did Denny's become so expensive?? We used to like to go there as a cheap family outing and could eat for around $40. This time we spent almost $80. The Build Your Own Grand Slams were $15! Denny's doesn't serve high quality food and that isn't what you go there for. You go there knowing the food will be just okay, but cheap. If they're serving mediocre food and charging a premium for it, why not go someplace better quality? Kid-friendliness: Denny's kids meals are decent. They get a main meal and a side. I hate when restaurants serve Kraft macaroni and cheese though. Like, it's $1 a box, why would I pay $6 for a portion?
