Love coming here. Facility has a swimming pool, full gym that is well ventilated and has super high ceilings, squash courts, change rooms, and a few studios with cycling equipment, ping pong tables etc etc. All at an affordable price. Recommend over private or chain gyms!
The pool is pretty clean but nothing special. Came on a toonie Tuesday and the place was packed. There’s a weird water walking spot where humans walk in circles together. It is not a “lazy river” like a fun aquatic Center would have. The showers are cold in the change room and all of the pools are the same temperature.
Big, bright, new and great facilities. People complain about it being busy at peak times - sure it gets busy, but what do you expect from a place that provides great value at affordable price? It has so much to offer for different needs. Nice staff and well managed. Great swim instructors. Great value overall.
Amazing place. Very clean tidy and perfect for family events
This community centre and staff are beyond excellent. I can’t believe this is a public facility with so many options.I am having a hard time understanding the negative responses here and are wondering are we so privileged we can’t appreciate a brand new place with affordable prices. Why would you bring any valuables to the centre or for 50 cents, lock it up. Thank you to the friendly and accommodating staff that keep this place so clean and welcoming!
AWESOME new place! has free indoor and outdoor parking. outdoor soccer field has high gated area. 7pools as seen on photos. has a spacious gym area. they have table tennis and squash. security is very high tech and doors have fobs and high end locking/unlocking system. they encourage using the stairs and the layout design is interesting. -1 because the pool area is actually tiny. and for table tennis you must bring your own equipment and there seems to be a system glitch when we went there for the pool. we ended up not going for public swim 6-8pm they didn't try to manage it manually either. poor staff handling on troubleshooting a problem. :
The sauna has been out of order for weeks now. This is a big portion why me and other people have a membership I think it’s unfair we are paying 40$ a month for little effort to fix important appliances
A great facility i suppose. I've experienced racism from other customers, grouping up and nudging away. Sadly kids see this and last I was there kids had nudged a small girl away.
Went swimming. The locker rooms are clean and roomy. The pool area has lots of room for all ages. The wading area with fountains and bubbles. The main area has basketball nets, and is great for beginner swimmers and playing with friends. The river is the best place to float. Even though the pool area is heated, the hot tub is always nice to warm up and relax. And if you really want some excitement the diving boards are the best.
It's brand new facility and offers most of sports ; however, the pool Family changing room is not just for families, everyone can use it which is not suitable for families with young kids. Imagine ,you take your kids to a nude beach. Will you do that? also there is no garbage can in the shower area ...
