This was our first time going to Deja Vu Diner,we did not get a chance to eat here because it was full as our greeter told us. We ask her how long & she said 10 to 15 minutes. My husband said he did not want to wait, the greeter response was we are going to have to wait anywhere we go, except for McDonald's or Tim Hortons. So we lift l thought that was a little rude anyway went to Stacks the food & service was great & we didn't have to wait.
If we could give more stars, we would. Both our breakfasts were PERFECT. I had eggs benedict and the eggs were cooked exactly right and the hollandaise sauce was divine. The home fries are the best ever - nice and crispy yet soft inside. Plus I think they are home made. THEY HAVE FRESH SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE - it gets squeezed to order. Such a wonderful touch! My husband has an omelette w/mushrooms, tomatoes and extra cheese. I think the bread is Cobbs bread - tasted home-made! Every bit for both of us was oh so yummy! This place must have great owners/managers because literally all the staff were super happy and friendly and just really seemed to go out of their way to make others happy. A tiny suggestion would just to give the washrooms a good clean - but they weren't horrible or anything. If we lived closer to Orangeville, we would go here all the time. Thanks Deja Vu for a wonderful experience!!
Friendly and prompt Service. Homely ambience. Typical country side family restaurant feel. Pancakes were awesome. Homefries and bacon would have tasted better if not deep fried. Suggestion as a cook.
Deja Vu Diner is your first and only choice for breakfast in Orangeville! The restaurant is filled with sunshine, great service and delicious breakfast items. Along with a clean environment there is great value and an Early Bird Special. I've been many time and the quality is consistent as well as the experience! If you are hungry and it's morning time... Go !
It’s always a pleasure ordering from Deja Vu Diner! The service is always incredible from the lovely ladies in the front, and the food is always hot and fresh by the time I get home. They offer delicious fresh baked goods aswell as wholesale foods if you’re looking to bring a taste of Deja Vu home to your freezer. Deja Vu is also constantly looking for different ways to give back to our community, it will be our go to spot for years to come : Vegetarian options: Lots of good options, including vegan/vegetarian.
Great home cooked food. Tables fill up fast on Sat and Sun morning but wait times aren't too long. Max 15 minutes waitime. Go here and support local! Just a heads up getting freshly squeezed OJ and butter tarts for two will dramatically increase your bill.
Totally recommend this place! Super friendly down to earth staff. Gluten free options. I recommend the eggs benny Andrew. I’m a bit of a health nut, So I get the sauce on the side. I’ll post a couple pics as my hungry man had a massive platter LOL
Great Diner with lots of heart. This is our go-to lunch spot in Orangeville. Food is always hot, plentiful and great fresh quality. Servers are happy to serve us, always friendly. My wife and I love this place : Parking: In a small strip mall and you can park right out front :
I got the Steak Benedict not on the menu, but I saw it on a poster on their wall which was really good. I was surprised how good the piece of steak was -- and they cooked it medium rare most diners will end up cooking it closer to medium. I upgraded my home fries to their "newfie" fries which include gravy and stuffing. They did not disappoint. They were busy and maybe short-staffed so the service wasn't as attentive as it could be but they were very friendly. Would definitely come back.
I LOVE Eggs Benny and consider myself a bit of a connoisseur of this historic breakfast- and Déjà Vus is one of the tastiest out there. The sauce is perfect, and I ordered an extra side of sauce for my Homefries Check this place out! You will NOT be disappointed. The service, the atmosphere, and the food were all amazing! I was by myself on a busy Sunday morning and I felt like family! ps. I hear they even have a Steak version of the Eggs Benedict! I may have the try that next time.. ; thanks guys!
