truly the nicest woman ive ever met. dee is the sweetest lady and makes killer food. we came in 5 minutes before they closed on a monday and she got three full meals ready in 15 minutes. the food is immaculate and its all reasonably priced. they also sell these cute little crafts in the store and right next door is a bar! would definitely recommend to anyone going through medicine hat.
We shop here often. Everything is absolutely delicious! My kids love their baking and my husband loves the beer buns!
We asked if dee’s could help us with Ukrainian wedding bread and she said it will be a challenge for short notice but she set out and turned out a fantastic bread for our grandsons wedding which was beautiful decorated and had a wonderful taste so to Dees bakery thank you were fantastic
This was our second time stopping through here and already feel like an old friend. First stop we had lunch and dessert. The rhubarb custard bar is amazing ! She invited us in to stay for lunch and treated us to a bar we shared for dessert. We called ahead this time and ordered an entire pan of the custard bars on our way back from holiday. If you're coming through you have to stop in. Home cooked food and baking, the friendliest service from the owners, takeaway goodies for everyone's tastes, many choices of homemade breads and buns too! Stop in you won't be disappointed, you'll be leaving with a smile and a happy belly!
Delicious - fresh baked holiday pies. So many options, we went with banana cream, apple and pumpkin. Incredible price!! Absolutely beyond flavourful. Big chunks of fruit !! Hands down, best pies ever, and the perfect treat for any holiday. WAY TO GO DEE!!
She has the best bread in all of Alberta. The friendly staff is always a blessing to encounter. Sweets and treats are all hand made and with lots of love. A great variety to choose from. I love the pre order option.
I love this little bakery! Dee is always a pleasure to deal with and has a warm smile for everyone. She also make rye and sourdough breads which helps us sensitive types. They have moved next door to the CIBC on 8th however, but their quality and service remains the same. Anyone that has tried Dees has NOT regretted it.
So super friendly and warm service, something so lacking today at most bakeries, the best part that I haven't smelled in a bakery for sometime is that amazing smell of really homemade baking not baked by hand from box like most bakeries do and people don't know it at all. The taste was stunning like moms thanks dee's for taking it out of a box of premade dough and cookies and bringing it back to simple basics. DELICIOUS five stars
Great food, delicious smells- stop in for heartfelt service and baking done with love like your Mom used to make. Also, saw that they sell buns in very small packages too- fabulous idea for single people, who can't use a dozen, or even 1/2 dozen.
Staff here are very nice and friendly!
