They made my dream wedding dress come true! Our wedding was postponed for 2 yrs due to covid so I also gained weight and my wedding dress no longer fits me. Thankfully, Debbie and her team altered my dress to fit me perfectly and also done all the additional details I wanted to have on my dress. Their service is very professional and everyone in the shop is very kind. They also provide wedding dress cleaning which is also great! Highly recommended
Went to go get my engagement dress cleaned for professional photos and received a totally different dress. I took it to Debbie’s fashion design because of all the good things I’ve heard from wedding experts. My dress was fully studded and cost me almost $2000 and when I dropped it off I stated I only needed the mesh part cleaned and steamed on the bottom because it dragged on the floor, no one informed me one part of the dress can’t be cleaned but the whole dress has to be cleaned. I trusted them to take care of my dress but now it’s completely ruined.
Debbie was absolutely amazing to work with. She made me feel so comfortable throughout my dress fittings! I got my wedding dress tailored beautifully and taken home. After I tried it on, I ended up making a small rip where my clasp was my fault and had to take it back to Debbie as an emergency alteration, since my wedding was that week! She fit me in an appointment immediately! She helped fix the problem and started off by sending me pictures of what she suggested would look best. She made sure I was happy with how the lace was placed before she changed anything. You could not even tell that the dress was altered when I got it back--I actually liked it better! She did such a lovely job, and put my mind at ease throughout. I am so grateful that Debbie was able to help, and I do not think any other companies could have fixed this, so beautifully, 2 days before the wedding! Thank you Debbie!!
I took my wedding dress to Debbie’s for alterations this summer and they were wonderful. Yolanda is a treasure and is so talented at what she does. She always made me feel comfortable and respected, and she is also just the sweetest woman around. Can’t recommend Debbie’s enough for tailoring! Thank you for making my wedding dress perfect!
The people at Debbie's are absolute LIFESAVERS. Since 2020 I've had to get my dress altered 3 times thanks, pandemic. The first 2 times I went to see friends-of-friends, but there were still issues so my friend recommended Yolanda and said she could fix anything. She was right!! I needed the dress altered in a tight timeframe and the staff really came through. Crystal was so understanding and helpful, and Yolanda worked her magic to make my dress fit exactly how I pictured it when I first bought it. When I tried my dress on the final time, they made adjustments on the spot Debbie also helped with this since Yolanda was helping someone else at that moment to make sure the dress was ready to take home as soon as possible. Thank you Yolanda, Crystal, and Debbie! You absolutely saved the day!
I can’t say enough good things about this place. I had to have my wedding dress taken in quite a bit because I had lost a lot of weight and the job they did was incredible. They not only made me feel comfortable at every appointment but they offered to make me a custom veil and off the shoulder sleeves which made the dress 100x more beautiful. Having a wedding dress altered can be stressful but everyone from the front end staff to the seamstress made it such an enjoyable stress free experience!
I did not have a great experience with Debbies Fashion Design when they altered my wedding dress. Novelle recommended them. I had to go back three times and kept asking for the same things to be fixed. The seamstress was quite rude about my body - saying that I "worked out too much" and that "squats were making my thighs too big." They made the lace on the sides of my dress bulge out, and said there was nothing they could do to fix it. I had to ask to get my cups fixed three times. They seemed very bothered whenever I asked for something to be fixed, and the seamstress was very unprofessional when she would comment on my body shape. I just felt very unwelcome and I felt like I was a bother to them. I had to go to a different seamstress to make my dress fit the way I liked it for my wedding day. Very frustrating experience. Debbies Fashion Design is also very expensive compared to other seamstresses.
Debbies Fashion ladies were absouloutely amazing. I had 3 fittings for my wedding dress, the 3rd time I was just not feeling it. The ladies here were amazing helped calm me down, altered my dress as many times as i needed it. Their patience were exceptional.
Debbie’s fashion design is such a pleasant experience. All of the ladies are amazing. The seamstress are very knowledgeable and experienced. Definitely a recommendation for wedding gown alterations!
Had my wedding dress altered here last year and Debbie knocked it outta the park! My dress had a lot of lace detail on it especially on the train I needed it hemmed ALOT and they way it was done it looked like it hadn't been altered at all 10/10 would reccommend. Pricing was reasonable as well. I'm having a bridesmaids dress altered here this year and I have no doubts it'll look great too!
