The most enjoyable lunch I've had in ages! Open Ruben Sandwich and the Special Pork Belly Roll were both incredible while the iced coffee hit the spot. Service was fast and friendly and there was enough room to park the pram. The kids enjoyed their meals too!
Beautiful little cafe with deli style shop front. You can not only grab a coffee/fresh juice and some breakfast but also do a little shop for some nice cheeses/meats/drinks for home! Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh and delicious. Thank you!
My Fiancé and I were looking around to find a nice cafe/restaurant to have lunch at. Upon walking here we thought it appeared to look decent but looks can be deceiving. We ordered a chicken burger, thinking it would be cooked fresh but it came out looking like human flesh had been chopped up and cooked. Tasted and looked awful! We couldn’t finish our food. Don’t waste your money.
Such great service and super generous servings of food! It was our friends birthday and they brought a treat over with a candle and sang happy birthday. Beautiful cafe
Ordered the Mediterranean salad which consisted of a plate of lettuce with what I am guessing were chargrilled veggies out of a jar. The salad was absolutely swimming in oil, so much so that it pooled at the side of my plate as we were sitting outside and the table was sloping. Hubby had a chicken and bacon melt. The chicken was overcooked and dry, so hard in places you couldn't insert the fork! Overheard the table next to us receiving untoasted toasties and the waitress being very rude to them. Our coffee order didn't make it to the barista, but when it finally came it was excellent. No toilet facilities on site, had to use the pub across the road!
Such a lovely atmosphere! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food was very fresh and flavoursome. Lovely little spot for food and coffee!
Make sure you stop in on your way North or South. There's always a couple of mouth watering sandwiches specials, quiche and salad, terrine, frititata etc. Huge selection of cheese and deli meats. Staff are super attentive, it's such a relaxing place to stop for a bite to eat.
Ask to upgrade your bacon and egg roll to the hangover special not too bad and the wood fired pizzas have really improved over 6 months From when the oven first went in crispy and delicious
This deli came highly recommended to us so it was one of the first stops we went to when we arrived in Berry. Unfortunately even though the opening hours said it was open, it wasn't. Next day, thankfully, they were open. They had an alright selection of cheeses, pretty woeful selection of deli meats, alright selection of dry goods, but an epic sandwich board. For a deli, I really expected a lot more. I get a far greater selection of goods from my local IGA! We all ordered sandwiches to share and some drinks. They were ok, but nothing to rave about. Then we bought some cheeses to take back to our accommodation. They weren't my types of cheeses, but I don't blame the shop for that just my friends' tastes! It seems this business might be after new owners, so I don't know if the love isn't there anymore, but we left disappointed.
Went for the Emporium Style Reuben for lunch. The kitchen forgot the sauerkraut. I mean, it is like forgetting the bun on a burger.... Pastrami way too chunky. Food did not taste great.
