I’m not sure if the staff here actually want us to bring children over, I’d suggest that you guys can please put up a board outside mentioning that the Deans Drysdale library accepts only quiet kids. Isn’t the public library supposed to be a space that should be able to accommodate all kinds of kids ? Every single time I take my child here , I always have someone come over and tell me to keep my child’s voice down, do you folks think that parents don’t try to?
Staff never stop talking and laughing to each other over the counter. To disturb everyone who is trying to focus on study
This lady yelled at me and my friends because my friend tripped and fell in the kids section and then we got yelled at by lady.well we got kicked out so I never got to play Minecraft on the computer. I think it was racially motivated but hopefully it wasn’t. 0 stars. my friend is black
Quite a small location, but friendly staff, easy to browse prints and a few spread out workspaces
They kicked me out because I was was reading a book in the kids area because they thought I was big now but I’m little boy I’m only 4 and I tooted on the way out and they kicked me in the floor.
