A spectacular property right off avenue road just south of st Clair. There is a rink and turf field below. The school runs from grade 5-12 with both boys and girls. It's a private school where uniforms are worn. It is known for it's outstanding academic record and strong character building. It is a Catholic school as well. It is a great place for young boys and girls to grow as people and go off to university well-prepared.
Throughout its long history Brothers and many other dedicated persons have worked tirelessly to continue this vision at the College. A Lasallian school is centred on a life of faith. In such a school, God's presence is a lived reality. It is a Christian school in the Roman Catholic tradition which proclaims the message of the Gospel to today’s youth.
One of the best decisions we made as parents was sending our 3 daughters to De La Salle. Students are exceptionally prepared for post secondary education, surrounded by like minded friends and teachers who are vested in their personal growth and happiness. If you are looking for a school that will foster growth on an intellectual and emotional level and encourage life long friendships, Del is the school for you!
A wonderful school. My daughter attended this school from Grade 9 to Grade 12. She loved the school and the teachers. While there, she made many friends. She is now in graduate school at McGill studying genetics thanks to the wonderful education she received at De La Salle. As a parent and educator I highly recommend this school. This is a school that demands academic initiative. If your son or daughter does not have the focus and ability to learn this is not the place for them.
Hi I went to De La Salle years ago. A great school and I learned how to respect adults not just the Christian Brothers but all principals. The student life was great and the school to this day continues to produce some of if not many academically inclined and mature professionals to this day. Keep up thr great work DE La Salle Oaklands!!.
