Great food and service. Yeah, it costs more than your favourite sushi/korean place in the city, but this is Valemount. YOU get the ingredients to make this food and see what it costs you! We will be back for more sushi here for sure - delicious! And we have lived in Japan for 5 years
Bibimbap done right! Fresh veggies, tasty marinated beef, and that crispy rice you can only get from an insanely hot bowl. The tempura was good, too!
What a gem! Not what I expected to find in humble Valemount! Pictured is beef bulgoli without rice, edamame and kimchi. Everything is delicious and they even made us bimbap with tofu instead of the usual beef and egg. Definitely planning our next road trip to include stopping here again!
Like anywhere in Valemount, this place is suffering staffing and supply issues. If you can ignore that, and we could because we managed to get the very last two bottles of cold sake, the service is attentive despite the circumstances, and the food is DELICIOUS. Really good stuff, and the ice cold water a bit of heaven on a very hot day.
Kimchi Jigae kimchi stew pictured was flippin' fantastic! The JeYuk Bokkeum spicy stir fried pork was also good. Can't wait to stop in here again.
All staffs are so friendly and kind. Foods were indescribably great. You should stand up and go to Dduk Bae Kie right now. Highly recommend.
Beef Yakasobi is tastewise a 4/10, salmon roll the same and it’s heavily overpriced.
Lived many years in both Japan and Korea. The food was so great and I’ve not eaten better in all of Canada. A hidden gem. Thx for the delicious food and friendly staff.
My girlfriend and I went here to eat and we certainly did enjoy the staff and their service. We did not enjoy the atmosphere or the sushi we ordered. There were cords running along the floor and the place looks peiced together... The sushi we got took about 45 minutes and there were only 2 tables in the place us being one of them. When our food arrives the tuna was gross and mushy.
The staff was on it, the decor was quaint, and the culinary experience was one of the best I've had in a long time. 10/10 would recommend
