I had a great experience at Days Inn by Wyndham Willmar. The room was clean and comfortable, and check-in was a breeze. Quiet, cozy, and exactly what I needed for the trip. Highly recommend it and I'll be back for sure.
I've been a regular at Days Inn for my truck stops, but my recent visit to this location was disappointing. I arrived around 2 am after not being able to complete my online reservation. The front desk staff was rude and disrespectful, charging me more than the online price and asking for a higher deposit without a clear explanation. When I questioned it, I was told to go to a different hotel. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially late at night when drivers need rest. I ended up at Super 8, where the staff was friendly and the price fair. I won’t be returning to this Days Inn location.
SUSSPICIOUS AND SKETCHY Tried to book again but the rate went up dramatically. The whole family took up the first floor they didn’t have any room available other than the handicap which wasn’t a problem but the hot water doesn’t get hot like at all. When I tried to rebook the guy was trying to book me for two beds randomly as I looked around to see if I came with someone. Sam then said oh okay let me look. Came back with a room for 99 a night. More than the two bed .. I could’ve booked on the app and got it for 70 a night but the way he wasn’t communicating and acting strange I decided to stay elsewhere. It was uncomforting and felt a little mischievous. I’d like this hotel to be investigated and debugged. Constant noise from these guys it’s a kind of diabolical situation. I just needed a place to sleep for work.. thanks. A whole week here was sketchy and intolerable. Insane. Felt like I left every morning on a bad start to a good day. Spend your money elsewhere please and thank you. I’ll let the company and employees I work with know how my situation was when we come work in this area again.
Travelled to Willmar for a wedding, booking was easy - I called the day before just to see if we could check in early so we would have time to get ready, the person I spoked with was very accommodating! Checking in was seamless. The rooms were clean, bed was very comfortable! The room had a microwave and fridge which was nice. The reason for the 3 is the back door which I was told required your key to enter did not work, which I found out first hand, so there is a rock to keep the door propped open. Continental breakfast was great, nice variety - waffles were amazing!
The front desk guy was so nice and accomidating. Even offered to switch rooms really quick for my disabled mother to be closer to the entrance. Just very nice guy.
