Days Inn Brookings

The room was nice when we got there, but other then that if you leave money out at all those housekeepers will rob you blind, and then make up a bag story stating that they didn't steal any money... While I was there you have to pay for the pool, and when I went to swim someone ended up pooping in the pool and they wouldn't give me a refund, and the staff well the staff wasn't that nice to my buddy and i, very rude... And the ground round restaurant in the hotel was really nice there well trained staff, and very nice place to eat, have a good time, and enjoy a nice cOld beer

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wifi connected, but kept disconnecting because the connection was too slow. I tried this on 3 separate devices with the same result on all 3. I called the front desk and the clerk was happy to reset the router, but this only allowed the connection to work for about 6 minutes. The sink took 10 minutes or more to drain. The breakfast area was all stocked, but the floor was dirty and tables were sticky. To reiterate, the staff was wonderful. Would have been 5 stars if was for staff alone!

The Room was OK for the first night, although the beds are hard a rock. When we went to shower the water came out brown, it was disgusting. They refused to make our beds and give us room service for the 2nd night, even after I called and asked. The person at the front desk was rude and made me feel like an Inconvenience. The breakfast that they served was disgusting and cold. I found a bug crawling on the wall which totally creeped me out! The swimming pool and park was awesome but it's my recommendation that you stay somewhere else and just paid to swim, I wouldn't stay there ever again.

Key cards for our room doors were completely broken. We had to go to the front desk to get our cards re-coded every time we left, it seemed like. Kid loved the water park. The room was just okay, cleanliness wise. The place could use some updating.
