Delicious food, large portions, reasonably priced. Limited seats, mainly a take out place, attached to the market. Can be somewhat of a wait 15-20 minutes during peak times. Order online for pick up saves time waiting. Lots of parking at the back. Love the chicken with barberry rice, kubideh, and fresh tandoori oven bread.
Amazing local gem, you have to try it! I’ve often seen this place driving by but finally found time today to try it. Extremely friendly service, the food was made fresh and tasted delicious. Large portions that can feed 2 people and you can just tell it’s made with passion and attention to detail.Food: 5/5
Went here for the first time and it was amazing! We ordered the varizi chicken skewer and beef/lamb mix skewer and the meat super tender and flavorful. The seasoned oil that brushed the food was delicious. Good size portion and was able to eat two meals out of it.
The food is so flavorful and delicious here. Such an amazing and honest family who owns it. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are absolutely huge!
Really great afghan/Persian food and amazing customer service! Portion is very decent as well. They have a patio area at the back if you want to dine in.
Don’t miss this restaurant, the food is super delicious and very large portions, good price ! I recommend Barg Kebabthe lamb is amazing! I don’t like this Doogh, it is sour and salty, I add some sugar in it , then it becomes better hahaha. Anyway, I will be back again to try other food.
Hands down, THE best koobideh in lower mainland. So juicy n tender, it’ll melt in your mouth. Amazing quality. Always fresh. Friendly kind service. Highly recommended. They also have an awesome bread baker, fresh bread on sight
The smell of the kebabs when you go into the market are amazing! Everything is so fresh and they make the bread fresh and warm all day except Sunday’s. Super big portions and the lamb tenderloin is honestly some of the best lamb I’ve ever had. The people who run the restaurant are always smiling and friendly and often put in some hummous or other little things for me to try. All in all great place to get some Persian food
Hole in the wall but it’s a hole in one. Tender meat we had lamb and beef served with rice, every bite was a punch of flavor.
It used to there were local restaurants in back home with a warm and friendly environment. It is very seldom to see the same in Great Vancouver ! They used to made foods ready with their specific recipes by using organic and local ingredients to make the taste unique and it is something that hides behind Day to Day! A nice name with a good chef, high level customer service by friendly personnel, good ingredients, and then a warm friendly space. when all those come in one place it gives you a good result!A good tastes which gives you joy! But it is not the all! things The price for each portion is fair and each portions is very generous! They also give you a crispy Tahdig crispy bread slightly fried under the rices during the cook on the side, and they do it generously too! Today I took my guestmy mother there and as always we got a good service and then the waitress provide a good service to makes us happy but also later the real gentleman chef and maybe he is the owner came and checked with my mother to make sure she is happy with everything! My mother and myself were very impressed and happy with quality and the service! Thanks Day to Day! I need to bring to your attention that after our food as we were very happy we decide to walk in to other side for their grocery store and we also got the good service there too! Also today was Saturday, and if you come during the week they bake very tasty and unique Afghani bread not exact but similar to Nam and Barbary but in high quality!
