We went to cancel one of our rooms and the owner of the hostel was rude and threaten to charge us for three nights he was yelling and gave no apology to us and still didnt cancel our room so we had to go online and do it ourself also there is no way to get help if you arrive late at night since no signs or people are up to help you which lead us to cancel our room.

Cheap to get your own private room. Owner has a very colourful life; ask him about his cycling tours around the world. He also provided a great suggestions for camping along the Dempster Hwy

Dawson City River Hostel is bicycle friendly! from owner .. "The hostel offers roofed and secure bike storage. We have some bicycle tools for lending. There is also a nearby bicycle shop where a person can get parts or tools. Registration on the main floor. We rent high quality mountain bikes for $25 a day, until midnight. There are always resident experts on cycling here or nearby to get tips on routes or repair. We have maps at the hostel that people can reference and reference books on bicycle repair too."
