Davisville Eye Care is a friendly neighbourhood eye care center. We provide comprehensive eye health exams, retinal imaging, visual field testing, optical eye wear, sunglasses and contact lens fittings. We see patients of all ages starting as young as 6 months of age. Evening and Saturday appointments are available and new patients are always welcome.

I came here for my first eye exam in years and to update my glasses prescription. I was very impressed! The staff are friendly and helpful, this place is super professional and organized, they value your time, and they charge a reasonable price for their services. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you're in good hands, and considering this is your eye care we're talking about, that counts for a lot! I will definitely be coming back for my next eye exam.
The staff are really nice, and I had a good first couple of appointments. The only reason I can’t give a great review is because they referred me to the most horrible Ophthalmologist’s office. Even making the first appointment with them was a nightmare and from there it got worse. I know clinics make deals with one another to incentivize referrals, so I say this places needs to take partial blame. Good customer service and care means doing research checking their Google reviews and finding a reputable specialist to refer clients to.
I decided to book an appointment after seeing many positive reviews and saw Dr. Yamamoto for a routine eye exam and contact lens fitting. Everyone at the clinic was great and Dr. Y provided above and beyond service. I realize how poor some of my past eye exams have been in comparison. She is thorough, explains everything, and made me aware of how I should be taking better care of my eyes and what I need to do. She was really helpful with trying to find more comfortable, but affordable, contact lenses. I really appreciate her help, so although I normally don't write reviews, I wanted to share my unbiased experience. Really glad I found a good eye clinic.
I have been going to Davisville Eye Care for many years and have always been impressed with the professional, compassionate and knowledgeable service they provide. Of note, Dr. Li helped transition me back to wearing contacts with multiple fittings to make sure they felt perfect -- and Dr. Yamamoto took care of an eye issue my 5 year old daughter was experiencing with thorough examinations and multiple follow ups to make sure all was well.
Having just moved to Toronto, I needed to find a new Eye Care clinic for myself and I have definitely found it! Had an appointment with Dr. Victoria Sin, she was really great and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Communication with the clinic was always quick and professional. Amazing experience! They also took great lengths to keep the place safe and clean during these pandemic times.
Had a very nice experience with Dr Yamamoto. She was friendly and knew what she was doing and gave helpful advice. The optician was also really good - helped me pick out glass frames that solved a lot of my historic problems with frames. All in all, a great experience.
Dr Yamamoto is amazing! She had her staff were very helpful. Dr Yamamoto is a wonderful person and makes sure her patients are well taken care off. Got the right prescription and a beautiful frame
It was my first time at the Davisville Eye Center and I had a very comfortable and pleasant experience. Dr. Yamamoto is a true professional and treated me with much respect and thoughtfulness. The whole team is fantastic; I'll definitely be coming back!
It was my first time visiting the Davisville Eye Care clinic recently and it was a great experience! The team there is friendly and very conscious of keeping their office clean, safe and Covid-compliant. Dr. Yamamoto is a true professional; friendly, wonderfully calm and a skilled optometrist - I think she’d be great for children as well as adults. Dr. Yamamoto explained everything she was doing and answered my questions along the way - I would highly recommend her and look forward to my next check-up with her! The office itself is bright and modern and they do a great job of maintaining social distancing.
Dr Li and her team consistently deliver cutting edge treatment, while carefully and patiently fostering patient relationships. They take the time to answer questions and have built a practice where people feel valued and are put at ease. Eye care is essential and we so often take optic health for granted. It is a travesty that current government priorities do not seem to be about restoring their share of the responsibility for universal, basic eye care. I for one am in huge support of the front line opticians who make every effort to see urgent cases ASAP. This office is professional and knowledgeable and empathetic. Outstanding care and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks so much Dr Li!
