The Dat Salon philosophy started with the Hairdramatic concept. It comes from an idea that all hair should tell a story. It can be a story about a first date, your dream wedding, or about how you aced the interview for the job you always wanted. Hair can speak volumes about who you are, where you want to end up and how you are going to get there.

I tried my best to not be a total Karen about this but truly the worst experience I've ever had at a salon. Worse than the service itself was the treatment from the owner,  Dat, who shows no care for the salon's customers who are paying a hefty price for his services. I would strongly advise against booking an appointment there. Seven hours and $380 later, this is how my hair turned out. After 2 weeks of chasing down the owner, Dat, he was super rude and condescending. He told me I signed their "chemical release form" fully aware that they are not able to offer refunds and that i received a discounted service - he told me  this would have cost $800 normally which is actually absurd. Dat explained they had video footage of me saying i was happy with the hair right after the service was complete..which i thought was very strange to use as a reason not to provide customer service after a client went home and took a look at their hair out of the salon environment. I imagine I'm not the only person who finds it difficult to tell someone they did a horrible job right away... I would save yourself the time and energy I have wasted trying to deal with this salon. My hair was left hilariously hideous, and it has been some of the worst customer service I have ever received. I cannot say enough how much I loved getting my hair done at this salon, Alaa was an absolute dream to be with and treated me so well as it was my first time getting my hair treated and dyed!  They were so knowledgeable and made me so comfortable with picking a hair style and dye pattern that would work for my hair and face, and it looks absolute AMAZING!  Would so recommend this lovely person, if you want someone who knows what they're doing when it comes to cutting, styling, and dying your hair, they're the person you need to see.Services:&nbsp;Hair coloring

I have been going to Lindsay and Dat at Album Hair for years now and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Lindsay is a true master of hair colour and has transformed my hair from dull and lifeless to vibrant and beautiful. She listens carefully to what I want and always makes sure I'm comfortable with the end result. She is also very knowledgeable about hair health and always recommends products that help keep my hair looking and feeling healthy.  Dat is equally skilled when it comes to hair cutting. He knows exactly how to work with my fine hair type and always gives me a haircut that is both stylish and easy to maintain. He also takes the time to explain what he's doing and gives me tips on how to style my hair at home.  Together, Lindsay and Dat make an incredible team. They are both friendly, professional, and truly passionate about their work. I always leave their salon feeling confident and happy with my hair. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a hairstylist that truly cares about the health and beauty of their hair. Liah Wallace is amazing!!!! We had a bumpy start as she was overbooked and I had to wait but the recovery was awesome - she and Michelle helped to get the bleach in as quickly as possible, and Liah went all the way to make sure that I got an even bleach and tone without compromise despite having to work extra. Thanks so much Liah!

Went for a RMT massage which was pretty nice and the people there were all nice. However, I was wrongly told when I scheduled my appointment that the blow-dry is included in the price but ends up it wasn't.  I wished I knew that when I scheduled my appointment cause it doesn't make sense for the massage to not include the blow dry as i will be walking out with my hair wet. It ends up being pretty expensive for me to get a blowdry that I can do at home.  I would hv asked for a more elaborate blow dry if I knew.  Anyhow, overall great service but way overpriced for what it is.  *5/4: just a response back on the comment Album Hair left on mine...I was never given the option of the complimentary blow dry when I was at the salon questioning why is the blowdry not included in the cost....

This is my go to place in Toronto for highlights/balayage and haircut. I’ve been going to Lindsay and Dat for the past 2-3 years and I’m always sooo happy with the results, it always look gorgeous! Fully recommend!

I had the most amazing time with Stacey! I've never had my hair colored before so the whole experience was very new to me. Stacey was super friendly and knew exactly what I wanted. Below is my hair vs the picture I gave for reference. It took about 4 hours, but totally worth it!
