Nice Korean restaurant on St Clair. It’s the only one within blocks from Yonge and St Clair so it is a relief there is one. Their pork bone soup is delicious and packs a decent quantity as well. I have yet to try other menus but will definitely come back for more. Keep at it! Edit: it seems to be closed down :
This is a very small restaurant, almost like you grandparents kitchen and with amazing food! So if you're in the mood for some delicious, one-of-a-kind Korean cuisine, come down to Dasoni located on St. Clair Avenue West! Although the menu is limited, there are still many options for you to choose from! Limited choices compared to a typical Korean restaurant but every dish is prepared with love and care and you will enjoy it! You can get the amazing soup like Kimchi Stew, or the tasty or braised kimchi Ribs! Lots of flavours to choose from for your taste buds! Their bibimbap dishes are amazing. We enjoyed the appetizers, and the vegetarian Bibimbap. Unlike most Korean restaurants, they offer bento box dishes which is amazing! We loved the fact that they also offer frozen uncooked Korean food that you can take home and cook. A large number of their customers take home the frozen Korean food!
The food, atmosphere, and service was absolutely outstanding. Some of the best Korean food I have had in the city in such an unsuspecting location. Everything was extremely fresh and full of flavour. Very kind and attentive service and the music selection was top notch! About to become a regular here for sure.
The food is amazing here. I like it. It’s a bit non popular area so I was worried but it was totally worth to go. Their course meal is amazing and totally worth it. $30 per person and it’s a lot of food You have to book in advance though call them at least 3-4 hours before I love to go there again and again.
Good neighborhood family-run restaurant. Friendly service, clean, simple decor. Opened 3 months ago and waiting for liquor licence. Very decent prices for the amount of food plated. Food is tasty, not over salted and ingredients seem fresh. We had lunch box and bulgogi with rice. Nicely done and would return again when feel like Korean food without trekking down to Bloor/Christie area.
Went with a friend and had a great time there. Excellent food, good service. Portion sizes were good for the price. Tasted like authentic korean food. I would come back again to try their set course meals. Very convenient to get too since the streetcar stops right in front of it. The food came out relatively quick as well, very little wait time.
Great food, generous portion, and reasonable price! Especially this Pajeon Korean Style Pancake was so amazing. Definitely come back to try other menus soon.
2022-05-17 Unfortunately this place has closed down. Best Korean food around the area. Personal favorites are pork bone soup and seafood pancake, kids like the bulgogi Bento box. Portions are generous, service and price are good.
Ordered two lunch boxes - $13 each. Really good. Boxes come with a protein, side salad, glass noodles, rice, kimchi, and a nice little egg bite. Each box came with a soup too. Nice clean restaurant with attentive service. It's brand new and it's the ONLY Korean option until Bloor. Will definitely be coming back.
