Your food is ready in ten minutes and the fish is soo flaky and and crispy on the outside. The workers here are always nice and there to answer your numerous questions on the different types of fish. Definitely go get yourself some jumbo haddock and chips

With the price of halibut these days most consumers are forced to do the haddock and chips option. This shop offers a Jumbo version which is 7 ounces if memory serves me vs halibut which is maybe half that amount and more money. I ordered the large haddock with fries. Ike, the owner... no Danny to be found... was very pleasant. He did show me that his Halibut prices are still cheaper than other F & C places along HWY 7. So for $9.99 you get a decent size meal... fries and fish no drink. I liked the fries which are typical English Style chunky fresh cut potatoes ...not greasy. The fish was a good portion but I found the batter had a stale odour to it. It did off flavour the fish in my opinion. I am guessing these guys go through tons of oil so I likely got the older fryer oil . It was still quite decent but with older oil it tends to make the fish a bit greasy and has an odour that is not appealing to me. Worth a trip to this shop if you can find a parking spot.

It's a no BS fish and chips place. Great fish, not too greasy, home made hand cut fries. Good coffee. I got the haddock. Good size portion. Nothing to complain about. It's fish and chips done right.

Family owned, but great good and service..fish fried fresh and crispy I like how they can make it spicy.... I prefer them over Halibut House,.
