Amazing,well prepared,fresh, food. We got the seafood sampler appetizer and fried calamari was very lightly breaded seasoned delicately and the calamari had perfect tenderness and taste . Crab cakes and dipping sauce were exceptional. My main course I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp asked if I could have scallops added absolutely no problem plus he prepared it with the mushrooms and red peppers I thought it was absolutely perfect wasn't too thick wasn't runny pasta held together pasta was fresh seafood was phenomenal everything came together nicely. Most of all service was amazing from the hostess to our waitress Carey Paradise. Glad my girlfriend after after. 8 years of me searching for a good restaurant decided last night to finally tell me about this place definitely will be a regular.
We love this place. It's a little out of the way but we make it a point to go there often. We have never had a bad meal there. Nor the service. Everyone is so helpful and kind. It truly has a family feel. And of course the food is great. Steaks, pasta, fish, even the salads are awesome. Go there. You'll be glad you did.
Found this place on Yelp and had great ratings so we stopped. So glad we did. Food was delicious....and a good size portion. UPDATE Oct 21, 2022 it's been 5 years since we have been here, finding this more or less on a whim. Google tells me the original photos have been viewed over 1million times so I said I had to come back and visit when back in town. So, we did for dinner today. Still EXCELLENT food and GREAT service. Such friendly folks who work there and others enjoying the food and drink, like we were. The food is made to order, and the chef cut out the gorgonzola sauce for me on the special steak tips and pasta. SO good. My sister had the grilled haddock, a huge piece of fish, so yummy. We had the seafood appetizer, crab cakes, shrimp and calamari - which were great, sauces were super yummy! Cannot say enough about this place. For those who live by, I hope you continue to support Daniel's Grill, they are doing it right and these small restaurants are so, so special. Thank you again. Hope to be back again and not wait 5 more years!
This is a "go-to" restaurant for my family & friends. The food is always fresh, homemade, and delicious! You can smell food cooking on the grill walking by. The aesthetics are beautiful... especially if you get the chance to sit on the patio. Last time we went, we had a bottle of champagne, the peppercorn salad, Portuguese style shrimp pasta, steak, and 3 desserts creme brulee, key lime pie, and carrot cake. Everything was amazing as usual.
This was our first visit. We did have reservations for Saturday which I highly recommend. It was very busy. Our waitress was fantastic, great personalityabd on top of things. The food came quickly for how crowded it was. The food was excellent. The steak melted in my mouth and my wife's chicken riggies were fantastic. They had a wonderful sauce with the right level of spice. A very enjoyable evening
We came here randomly because we wanted dinner before a movie and there is no where decent in camillus. We got to Daniel's right at 5 and we were seated quickly despite not having a reservation. All the food was great- We had the Brie quesadilla appetizer and I had the fish with cream sauce and chipotle sweet potatoes. My husband had the parmesean chicken and garlic smashed potatoes. We both loved our meals! The service was amazing and our waitress was so friendly. We will be back!

This is a nice clean restaurant for the family or a group gathering. It has a cool small bar at the entrance and some high tables to sit by. I met up with a group of nine with a reservation for a birthday dinner on a Wednesday at 6pm. The table was prepared early and looked great. I ordered the calamari as an appetizer and the lobster ravioli for the entreé. Fresh baked warm rolls were served after we ordered. Our server was Emily and she was fantastic. The calamari was very good but the sauce that was served with it was missing something. The lobster ravioli was excellent. They were giant ravioli with the perfect combination of ingredients. The sauce wa excellent.
Food was top notch tableware was spotless clean friendly environment
Nice place with a variety of menu selections. I was disappointed with the lack of local beer and wine selections. My Riggis with sirloin tips and blue cheese was excellent. Burgers looked great. My wife said her fish fry was lackluster. I'd recommend Daniel's.
