Story

Danforth Pizza House is a Toronto institution that has been serving the city some of it's best pies for over 50 years. Established in 1964 by Angelo, an Italian immigrant, this unique style of pizza has been offered for decades.

When long-time owner Angelo passed, the secret recipes were handed on to family friends who took over the business and are continuing the tradition of truly authentic old school pies. The dough is made fresh in house every day with the secret recipe: the crust is puffy and golden around the edges with a soft interior moistened by a layer of the lightly seasoned tomato sauce.

We are proud to say that Danforth Pizza House is the oldest family owned and operated pizzeria in Toronto serving JUST pizzas, and has been a neighborhood and city favorite for years!

The pizza here is amazing!!! The dough, sauce, cheese and toppings are outstanding and made to perfection. Great little spot. A very friendly staff. You won't be disappointed. And easy to find becuase of the great out front. You can't miss it.

This has been my Friday pizza spot for my whole life. My grandma loved this place. It warms my heart with nostalgia. There is no pizza like Danforth pizza! It’s the best I’ve ever had!!

Greatest pizza in the city of Toronto by far. They pile on the toppings and don't cheap out at all. Pizza weights a ton and the taste is out of this world. Its Pizza like you remember it when you were a kid. Family run business that always welcomes you with a smile.

One of the best pizza's in Toronto, hands-down. Very unique options plus more standard offerings. Good ingredients and great dough. A little bit more expensive than your average pizza place but I imagine that's due to the quality of the ingredients. A must try for any Toronto pizza lover!

Awesome food, friendly staff, regularly  awesome ambience. They charge affordable rates and the food quality is fantastic. Fantastic work.
