"Danforth Food Market opened in May 1986 and now grown to six locations across the GTA.Corn and eddoes are fresh and fragrant, as are the three many types of mangoes in the produce aisle. The well-maintained meat and fish counters skew heavily West Indian: we offer goat feet, shoulders, and legs, and an assortment of tripe, plus five kinds of snapper, massive kingfish, cut pieces of shark and Jamaican goat fish. There is also plenty of smoked mackerel, herring, and cod. Could be alot better, the workers act like you owe them something. Bunch of idiots, if they don't want to work their find a new job. Beside's that still one of the best places to find carribean food. Kind of sad‼ we need more and better services for our people, more black owned carribean/african stores PLEASE‼
When to buy some fish and a few other things . The price was good on the fish the worker did an awesome job cleaning them and was very polite great customer service.
#DanforthMarket/ Keele street and St Regis in Toronto Canada. Where do i start?? For all things CARRIBEAN this is the place!! The Owner the employees the store!..... they make mega effort to source out things at best prices to keep them at cost for us consumers I'm not even kidding - you should go.... Even the vibes of the established is RIGHT...... I suppose - as they say the DNA of the owner flows through.......

Very nice food store, I go there mostly to buy meats fishes and others. Fish area Black guys working there, them cleaning up the Fish with one heart they doing very good job, I always buy fish there. Bravos
Great experience all the time, whenever I do shop at this location. You can find varieties of items that you are familiar with, especially if you grew up in either the Caribbean or in Africa etc. I am always pleased with the service from the people who I encounter. Whether from the fish secrion, meat secrion, or at the cashier they are always friendly to interact with.
Offers a lot of what one can find in both the Caribbean and Africa. The produce are usually good. The fish look like they were caught that day. There's a evidence range of condiments, spices, canned items, and the toiletries many of us grew up with. The staff are knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Renton tip the fish cleaning and meat staff - done cheap.
Meh, they cater to the Black, Caribbean and African community. The store always has a dingy, dirty and not so welcoming feel. It has all the staples, but can definitely use some paint, brighter lighting and happier staff.
Wide range of Caribbean products and produce. Hit it up for good stuff folks.
