They have a tough job. They have to deal with the worst of society. They run a tight ship at the jail. The facilities at the jail are terrible but that is not the fault of the sheriff's department who like the city of Madison are world class law enforcement organizations. Unlike Barney Fife Organizations like the Town of Madison the Sheriff's department needs to be respected and is the only organization that is mentioned constitutionally to enforce the law in each county.

Complete BS cant report a drug crime without being redirected 8+ times. Only to end in automated voicemails to no avail. Nice to know who cares and who doesnt.

The Sheriffs were the first on the scene when my Mother had a serious health issue. The gentleman were very helpful in the process of getting my Mother out to the ambulance. The teamwork between the Officers, Paramedics and Firemen was impressive.
