False advertising. The listing right here in Google Maps! that shows up for this location does NOT OFFER $7 MEAL DEALS!!!! WHY EVEN BOTHER!!! So nothing has happened, still false advertising. Nobody bothered to edit /correct the menu for this location, shows how much they really care or want to be honest! They serve it "to go" even though I specifically told them I was going to eat in. Why bother????
The $6 meal deal went to $7 and is now $8 $9 if you want the chicken. Having said that, it's still the best deal in town for burgers. Great location and staff working hard to serve you well and quickly. Every time I go however I have to run a gauntlet of homeless people either begging me for cash or trying to sell me something stolen.
Somewhat confused, I went to the port alberni drive through at 9:45pm 15mins before closing. I was informed it was debit or credit only .no cash. As they could not give change..not an issue I can find exact change... no cash at this time debit or credit only was the response....not sure what was the issue, did they not want to re count the till ?.Disappointed that I was unable to pay with cash , that was all I had with me at that time . I've had debit/credit machines not working before, but have never had cash not accepted. .
I give Dairy Queen a 5 star because well we both had to be patient with each other. My dad's car shut down because it was too cold and the guy inside was so patient with us. There was only 2 people in there. I loved those employees they were so nice, it made me think that we all have stresses but we help each other get through it and have patience... It made me really happy.
Both my husband and I got food poisoning from here that resulted in both of us having to go to the hospital.
I haven't been to the dairy Queen since it changed hands me and my granddaughter went there today 11:30 closed why and someone put a bag of garbage on the rail
Ugh well was the best thing going almost for 40 years but, i swear the patties now taste like the frozen Schneider pucks, not a fresh taste at all, and the fries were soggy, also did they down size the large drink lately? Literally the cheapest thing in the restaurant.
I cannot eat chocolate for migraine reasons. I asked for a Pineapple blizzard or a Banana blizzard with no chocolate. I was told that they don't offer those flavours and Dairy Queen has never offered a non-chocolate option to blizzards. She said that every blizzard has chocolate and that they couldn't make a blizzard without putting chocolate into it. I have gotten a chocolate-free blizzard at this restaurant before, although sometimes the have added chocolate pieces to blizzards that I've ordered on the ap. The person behind the counter was VERY rude and wouldn't budge for any reason. Just stood silently when I pleaded for a chocolate-free option.
I honestly feel like any 3-5 star rating are from the owners making up fake accounts. I did my work experience at this location when the flints owned it. Fast food joints are already questionable but this is by far the worst one I’ve EVER been to. Horrible costumer service with small cold portions. Won’t fix the speakers or lights in the drive thru. Dirty tables and floors. Staff always speaking foreign language then staring at costumers. No smiles no greetings. Will never ever go there again.
Don't leave without checking your order when I got home I was missing onion rings,too far to drive back,they don't answer the phone voicemail is full, went back next day and basically called me a liar said sorry we can't do anything closed the window and walked away. they owe me 3 orders of onion rings. Food was good customer service bad'.
