This is an old school DQ. Small, windows only walk up service. Service was smooth and timely. Set of 3 guys who each ordered 3 items, a gal who got 1 treat and my husband & I who got a total of 3. It was a cool night but the treats were delicious and nicely prepared. Wait was under 10 minutes for us. I only gave 4 stars because you can't use your DQ app there for the special deal on a Blizzard. So yea, old school that way, too! But the 2 guys working explained, apologized and were very nice about it.
Every time I get a Royal Newyork Cheesecake blizzard, there are other particles from different icecreams in my blizzard. Peanut butter, chocolate, etc. I even found a gummy worm one time. Do better and clean your equipment, that's nasty.
Doesn't feature all menu items due to size. Get yer banana splits early here so they don't run out
"Small town seasonal DQ" sums this place up. Service is a bit of a mess and I close my eyes from looking behind the counter at the mess. But when we need that Blizzard fix, it gets the job done. Well at least on the days they aren't out of cookie dough, chocolate soft-serve, or crunch pieces. Beggars can't be choosers. Oh and they don't accept standard DQ gift cards.
Employees are super incompetent at their jobs and do not communicate with customers as they should. We ordered a blizzard that wasn’t on the menu, the cashier rung it up, we waited, then when we asked about it because it was taking awhile, the employees said they couldn’t make it because it wasn’t on the menu, even though we paid for it. I also asked if they could add cookie dough to a specific order, the cashier said yes, and I found that there was indeed not cookie dough in it. So once again, instead of telling us that they couldn’t add cookie dough to that order, they rung it up and THEN told us that they couldn’t add it. Such an inconvenience.
This Dairy Queen charges drastically more than any other location. I got 9 mini blizzards and the total was nearly $50!! I checked with another location and it came to $34. A mini blizzard is $5.10 instead of $3.65 at another location, for the exact same product!
Nothing like the old fashion outside Dairy Queen, with the best ice cream ever. Chocolate sundae with extra chocolate is my favorite treat there.
I ordered a double dipped chocolate cone and it looked like a drizzled candle versus a double dipped cone. I could have benefited by informing me in advance that double dipping was not a good option.
The guy in there has a very poor attitude towards his coworker and us customers. He should probably just look for a different job. Also our blizzards weren't blizzards, they were milkshakes. Anyways that's my rant. Poor service + poor attitude = poor rating !
Everytine I go here they "aren't doing smoothies" like it's now warm outside what do you mean you aren't doing smoothies? Why are they on your menu then? I walked here with my dog for nothing because that's literally all I wanted and I figured it would be great bonding but it was a huge waste of time.
