Kudos to Danielle. She saved the day for me today by helping me with an ice cream cake. Everyone tends to dismiss this Dairy Queen. I think it’s just the opposite- good soft serve and they are always here for you.Recommended dishes
Went to get my son an ice cream cake for his birthday on a Friday at 6pm and they were closed! Said online they were open and until 8pm. This has happened on more than one occasion! Thanks for ruining my sons birthday!!
Their staff is so friendly. The are was very clean. They have a lot seat there and they’re comfortable. You can eat inside. The food was really good. And doesn’t take long to make food.
Food can takena while sometimes though. I love going for lunch but I know I have to eat quick those days. The food is 9/10 times delicious though so it's worth the wait! Make sure you say hello to Mavis tooFood: 5/5
this DQ has to be 1 of the dirtiest filthy places i have ever eaten. we were in town most Friday's and Saturday's with family and the kids wanted DQ. The floors, the employee's, the tables had to ask staff for a wet rag to wipe off our own tables and chairs the bathrooms were terrible. the owners of this place should be fined and the place shut down until it's completely cleaned and gets new employees. if it weren't for the kids we would not spend our money here again.
Ordered online through DQ website said my order would be ready at 3:11 pm showed up early let them know i was in the waiting room 20 min passed and still no order so I look at the ready orders across the counter and what do you know MY FOOD HAS BEEN SITTING THERE FOR 20 MIN and all they could tell me was I was not waiting 20 min Service is very poor everybody walking around like zombies and the place was not even busy Coming home to eat cold food that should have been warm but because of lack of good staff this place is the worst never again
The crew was busy but did a fantastic job !! Friendly busy employees and put out a great meal .
Miss the old management, they knew how to actually run a dairy queen. Took 25 minutes for my blizzard the ice cream came COMPLETELY Melted and messy. All the employees do is talk only 1 of them actually works.
My husband and I had wanted to go to this DQ since January 2022, but they were closed. We found out they would reopen again in the Spring/Summer 2022. We had a gift certificate for that DQ only, but it expired in February 2022, so my husband got in contact with Jamie, the franchise owner of that certain DQ, and got her permission to use our certificate when they reopened by writing 'per.Jamie' on our certificate. We finally got to go to the Hutchinson DQ in the middle of June. They open at 11am and no one opened the main doors. We waited for 10-15 minutes at the main entrance and decided to enter through the back entrance that we saw an employee enter through shortly before 11am, since that back door hadn't locked. The staff were surprised to see us and we said the back door was not closed after the employee entered, so we walked in since the main doors were still locked. There were about 3 staff members trying to get the main entrance doors to open, but they couldn't get it open. My husband helped them get the doors open. When we placed our order, we let the staff person know we had a gift certificate to use, but they didn't know how to ring up our order with that. That staff person just stood there looking at us and we told her to get the manager to help her because that was what we were using to pay. Then it took 20-25 minutes to get our food and we were the first people to place our order and there were only two other parties of 2 people each, who had ordered after us. We aren't impressed with the staff members or service at this particular DQ. New staff or not, they need more training or something.
