I came to Dairy Queen to place an order. I understand that I arrived a bit late and placed my order around 10:27 PM. My order was not very large, but I felt disappointed by the attitude of some of the staff members working at the time.While preparing my order, I overheard comments being made back and forth such as, “That’s a great order,” in a tone that made me feel uncomfortable and singled out as a customer. I am not offended, but the experience was disappointing.nAs a customer spending money at the establishment, I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism. I do not hold anything against any individual employee, but I wanted to share my experience because the overall service I received was not what I expected.
Absolutely the worse Dairy Queen you’ll ever get.nFountain pop taste water down,nWhenever you order a blizzard, they always stop 2 inches to the top, so you’re missing a chunk of ice cream. On top of serving half missing ice cream, it’s melted by the time it gets to your hands.nAlways misses orders and forgets stuffnAlso, no one there can speak a lick of English so good luck tryna talk to them
Very poor customer service. I ordered two Red Velvet ice creams and the first one was already melted when it was given to me. The second one came about five minutes later. When I politely asked the cashier about it, she responded in a rude way, told me to be patient, and then started laughing.nnI came back a few minutes later to explain that the first ice cream was melted and had very few red velvet chunks. Instead of helping, the staff told me their machine was already closed and that I should come back tomorrow if I wanted it changed.nnThis is unacceptable. When a customer receives a melted product, the least you can do is fix the problem on the spot. Very disappointing experience and definitely not the customer service I expected.
Worst fast food chain experience of my life.nnI ordered a burger and the buns tasted old, stale, and like they had been microwaved. I drove back to the restaurant to bring it up to the staff through the drive-thru. Instead of handling it professionally, the employee said in a rude manner: “So what if the bread is like that?”nnWhen I pulled up to the window, he looked at my shirt, saw my company name, and made an unnecessary comment: “Oh makes sense because you work with so-and-so.” This was completely inappropriate. When I told him his comment was unacceptable and asked to speak to a manager, he loudly said: “NO, THERE IS NO MANAGER!” and refused to refund me.nnThings got even worse — he cursed at me in his own language and put his hand near my face in a threatening way, as if he wanted to hit me. No customer should ever feel threatened at a restaurant they paid money to.nnLuckily, I have everything recorded on my dash cam. I will be posting the video on Sioux Lookout community pages and other groups so people are aware of the kind of treatment they might face here. This was beyond disrespectful and completely unacceptable customer service.
I was excited for a DQ, but I feel this place has gotten really bad really fast this past year. The dining area has been closed twice I've visited, leaving no option to dine-in, orders consistently take over 30 mins to prepare, and often arrive with errors or cold food. One time I took my son out and we waited 30 mins for our meals that we had to eat in the car, because the dining area was closed... then noticed a sauce was missing and it took 15 mins to get the attention of the worker, who was swamped with orders because they seemed to be working completely alone. The pop machine doesn't taste very good and never has ice, the drive thru takes so long - I don't even bother anymore. The building itself has a cracked window, stains in the ceiling tiles from leaks, glue residue around the windows, and the poor workers are using space heaters to keep warm. Who even built this place and do the owners even care about it?
