A nice little spot away from cobourg beach where you don’t have to be with the rush of people Came here back in the summer with the family. Stopped by as the 401 was closed for hours and decided to try side streets and when I hit the cobourg area, just had to bring the fam here The ice cream and soft serve were the perfect pick me up to continue our long drive ahead The kids loved the refreshing stop and the ice cream was nice and smooth and creamy too. The soft serve is just as expected but had a nice extra creaminess to it as well. Service was awesome. Never felt rushed to order and was greeted with a smile! Will definitely be back in the summer when we go to cobourg beach and don’t wanna be in the rush of people for ice cream right off the beach Great job overall! Honestly a classic location in Cobourg for some great ice cream and retro design. The girls at the desk were lovely and the ice cream was Kawartha Lakes. Great to see a classic ice cream venue still open.
Best ice cream and frozen treats in Northumberland County!! David and staff are very friendly and offer great service and selection!! All kinds of flavours to choose from, different flavour soft serve, all kinds of treats, frozen yogurt, shakes, sundaes and they even make custom ice cream cakes!! Has the cool vintage retro look with swivel stools at a window counter. Love this place and wish it was open year 'round!
My family loves Dairy Dream! Great sized serving for the price, friendly staff and cute decor. My son loves the sprinkles they put on the Jr cones.
Went in with my daughter and they seemed genuinely interested to help me. The two girls were patient as she chose her flavour, offered her sprinkles, very friendly, and the owner was more than accommodating for my peanut allergy, offering to sanitize the soft serve machine for me.
What an amazing place. Most amazing people I've come across in a long time! Beyond helpful with an over tired little boy who just wanted to end his night with ice cream! Thank you so much for your help and the amazing ice cream. Will definitely be back and will share my experience with everyone!!

Fair prices, big portions and they always have friendly staff! Much better ice cream than getting it from the fast food places in town that offer ice cream. Pay a bit more and go to dairy dream — they offer a quality product.
Our favourite local ice cream parlour, a gem in downtown Cobourg. Close to the beach and across from Victoria Park and family-run. Delicious quality ice cream cakes made with Kawartha Dairy are a favourite...we enjoyed another creation this weekend!
We took our grand kids for ice cream.You should of seen there eyes light up when they seen all the flavours. Lena had cotton candy. And Oaklyn had Buble gum. The girl's serving the ice cream were fantastic. The girl's Evan got sprinkles on them. Made them so happy.Thank you Dairy Dream.
