The bagels, muffins, cookies, breads…basically anything I’ve tried has been out of this world. I’d easily put them up against any big named bakery in NY or NJ. I’m saddened to not live closer, but a relative does and I always beg her to stop and get some treats if she comes to visit!
Cute store. Amazing blueberry crummy cake. Average coffee from Keurig. Definitely worth visiting.
The fresh baked bread was delicious with my bowl of chili. The cashier was very nice.
Ordered Croissants for a special occasion. Definitely not what I got in the past. Worst ever, my supermarket superior to this so called bakery. Stay away.
Lovely quaint bakery! My first time today and it is a lovely shop. Delightful bakery goods that include fresh baked bread loaves, bagels they went quickly!, fresh fruit pies peach and blueberry were offered today, coffee cakes, muffins, cookies, and biscotti. The sour cream coffee cake muffin was great!! I plan to be back tomorrow, Sunday, for the fresh croissants. Only open on the weekends and cash only.
The Mountainhome Bakery is the Best !!! Always there at least twice a week for their delicious Muffins, Crumb Cake, Apple Cake, well everything is so fresh and tasty. The Muffins out of this world…wow!!! If you haven’t been you must try…. You will love this Bakery!!!
I don’t know how anyone could ever put this store below a 5 star rating, I love this place. You can’t go wrong with anything you buy from them
Basically, everything here is really good!!! Cakes are so flavorful. Come early on Sunday to get the best cinnamon buns. We also really enjoy the butter leaf rolls. If with kids, follow up with a visit across the street to Callie's Candy Kitchen
Great food and great service..I always stop here when I'm in town. Traci is the sweetest baker you'll ever meet, her brownies and cupcakes are by far the best. Also must try her cranberry quick bread. The peasant bread is The best bread I've ever had. They make many different specialty "small batch" sourdoughs, so if you're lucky grab some if you see them. The croissants are delicious, fluffy, and crisp. Make sure you get there early or they will sell out!
Fresh and attractive breads, cookies, tortes, and specialties. The store is small, but absolutely clean and tidy. Peasant Bread is a whole grain loaf, $4.95. All baking is apparently done on the premises.
