What fun this free museum is! We took our four young kids here for a Saturday afternoon and had a blast! We stayed until they closed and our kid still didn't want to leave! They have a room full of taxidermied animals with colorful realistic background that makes them look alive! There is a lot of interesting historical facts in exhibits. They have hands on kids rooms where kids can pretend they were living on the frontier. They have travelling exhibits that are a lot of fun as well and very kid-friendly. We have seen one on dinosaurs and one on castles. I habe taken classes here for tours and those are always well done.
Nice little museum in a historical old building. Loved the big game hunting display. Staff was friendly and helpful in answering questions. Being a communications person, I also enjoyed the phone and lineman history associated with the buildings past. I think I need to stop by again as I did not take any pictures of the "big game" exhibit

Great place to explore the history of the area for young and old. Exhibits are constantly changing so it is a new experience each time we visit.
I've met the director and some of the staff. Wonderful people who are highly education on local history. Spent an afternoon there talking about local historical properties. Love it here!

Free museum with some ever changing pieces to it. A good majority of it stays the same with some local history pieces to learn a lot about the town and area. Really neat wildlife walk through with animals from all over the world, and a few rooms with ever changing exhibits that travel through. Great place to enjoy for all ages! Some interactive exhibits are always on hand for the kids and a nice little gift shop.

Very nice small museum! I liked the permanent exhibits plus the snoopy and red baron temporary one too. Very nice worker as well!
I'm probably prejudiced since I grew up near Aberdeen, but I love this museum that gives the history of the area. It's not extravagant, but the docents are very nice, and the exhibits are well kept. The building itself is historical. I will go there every time I get "home", which is every few years.
