I have tried few dishes here but honestly the one I had this time, chef’s special tadka dal & mom made chicken currywith bones was more than just delicious. The right amount of quantity, excellent quality won my heart. The only concern would be daal’s quantity can be a bit more. But anyways, every that I had this was very very nice. I my previous visits, I have tried Paav bhaaji which was good as well. The ambiance of the place is nice with plenty of parking in the plaza, close to QEW. The food quality is well maintained as per the city community hence the prices are a bit higher compared to other places. However, if you are looking for quality & delicious food, this would be the right place for it.
You will not get a good food, test was very bad, we had some Indian dishes, but we spoil our time and test, not at all recommended, will not come again. Service was excellent, humble people here but food not at allFood: 1/5
A very authentic Indian restaurant serving Punjabi food. It's just like home cooking. I will definitely recommend this place for anyone craving good wholesome Punjabi food. The service is good, the staff are friendly and helpful. Vegetarian options: They have enough vegetarian options available for people who don't want to eat nonveg. Parking: There's ample parking outside.
Ordered lunch special chole bhatura...was tasty. Only the quantity of chole could have been little more. Nice food ...costs 10.99$ + taxes.
We visited this place last week it was amazing taste. Less busy so we don't have to wait at all for our food. We ordered vada pav and pav bhaji as starter both taste were amazing. Price for pav bhaji was little expensive. Main course we ordered kaju curry and garlic naan both were fresh and delicious. Can give try to this place if carving for indian authentic food at Oakville location.
The food is great, ambiance is nice but the quantity is poor. We ordered paneer tikka masala and 2 garlic naan’s. The quantity of curry was so poor that it wasn’t even enough for 2 naan’s Spending 35$ and you couldn’t even eat 2 naan’s!! Seriously!?
Omg ! This is what pavbhaji should taste like ! Definitely going to visit this place again and again for vadapav and pavbhaji . We visited around 3pm for lunch but also service was really good and quick We tried here many things but I loved pavbhaji most ! Highly recommended
Visited Daal roti for dinner and were pleasantly surprised with the awesome hospitality. The staff was friendly and helpful in answering many questions we had as we were looking for Gluten free food without Onion and Garlic. Food quality and flavour was very good. We've tried Cheese corn ball, Hara Bhara Kebab, Kaju Masala, Paneer Tikka Masala, Aloo Kulcha and Laccha Paratha. Everything was excellently cooked and served with grace. We would definitely visit again!
Not worth the price. Lured us in with the Lunch Special poster that we thought would have been a great selection of foods to try. When we began ordering the Lunch Special, we were told that it was for take out only. We attached a copy of the poster showing that there was no verbiage of 'take out' only stipulated anywhere on paper A little disappointed and the fact that we had already sat down with intentions of eating here. We ordered off the menu. The food for the price we paid was not worth it. And in sitting down to enjoy our meal we were disturbed throughout with extremely loud noises from next door who were drilling into surfaces. We just couldn't eat any further. And did not want to take any of the meal leftovers because it was such a disaster. Considering the quality of food we got the price was expensive
This place has the best kadhaai Paneer!! I went to the restaurant couple of times and it has amazing food.Food: 5/5
