Nice little restaurant for an affordable Italian meal. Clean facilities, nice atmosphere and a terrace for those who like to eat outside. For the price, the food is very good. Restaurant had just opened a week or two prior our visit so the service was not amazing but staff were nice and working hard to do their best... which is normal and should get better with time. Vegetarian options: Several pasta and salad options for vegetarians. Parking: Parking just across the street.
We were there for the first time tonight, and I can assure you, it will not be the last. The food was exquisite! The service was good, the wait for our order more then reasonable, and the patron friendly. Dress up, have a drink, relax, take time to taste a mouth full of fresh ingredients, and finish it all off with a to die for tiramisu!! Trust me, you will not regret it!
Simple menu. Subtle salads. Super Pasta and Supreme dessert. All that and a Peroni. What more do you need. Best and newest kept secret in Edmundston!
Best Italian authentic food I have tasted in Canada so far. This place is a gem.
Man, this is the best place in town period. This is the real deal. The food taste out of this world and we will keep going there and can't wait to try it all. Keep up the great work!!!
I just discovered this place. Ordered 2 Osso Buco and a bottle of Chianti. Speechless.Food: 5/5
This restaurant is a breath of fresh air compared to the usual choices in town. If you want to enjoy authentic Italian dishes the way they are made in Italy then this is the place to go. What you'll get is simple but quality ingredients that make well balanced and flavourful dishes. I've enjoyed every bite and will definitely return.
Soon as we walked in this lovely lady greeted us with a smile and took us to our seat right away, but that’s Where the good service ended, we waited a while for our server to come over think it might have been the Owner, he kept walking by cleaning off tables. At this time there was only one table waiting for food and two others just finishing. So no reason it should have taken that long. Pasta was good, Portion was a size for a child the pizza was good definitely would never go back not due to the food due to the service.
Food: Very tasty and layered Service: Lukewarm Too bad businesses never seem to understand that its both sides that make people come back, not just one or the other. Will give it another try for sure to see if we were just unlucky service wise as the food is worth a second chance.
Da Lelia, Italian Restaurant, Edmundston, LESS THAN 5 STARS is the adequate rating for this restaurant. I’d love to rate the food but since the owner literally KICKED US OUT, I can only comment on the lack of common decency, respect and customer service from the owners of this place. During my annual summer visit, my family chose De Lelia as our destination for our annual family dinner. A beautiful family of 7 adults and a child, all well dressed, polite and quiet. Our Crime? We didn’t order fast enough. The owner wanted us to order drinks, appetizers and main dish the minute we arrived. Our reservation was at 7:30 on a Saturday night, we had plenty of time and wanted to enjoy a relaxing dinner. After ordering salads, the owner came back, grabbed our menus and told us the kitchen was closed. Then the story was that their oven wasn’t working anymore. Funny, I don’t ever recall needing an oven to prepare salads. The owner is arrogant, impolite and obviously knows absolutely nothing about running a business and doesn’t understand that as an entrepreneur, no matter the industry, the first rule if you want to be successful is to take care of your clients. Luckily for us other restaurants in the city have understood that message and I’d like to thank Que Padre who welcomed us with open arms where we had excellent food & service, even without a reservation. People of the Edmundston region, we have a beautiful city with many wonderful entrepreneurs who work hard and understand the importance of good customer service. Please, support those great people. We have many excellent restaurants. It’s not necessary to support an owner who has absolutely no appreciation or respect for his clients. Nobody deserves the treatment we received. P.S. by the way, I phoned the next day to make a reservation. There were no issues with the oven. I guess the appliance repair guys offer an excellent service on Saturday nights. #dontsupportDaLelia
