Da House Of Jerk

I’ve visited this place many times over the years. The hood: the food has always been pretty good. The bad: the service is a rollercoaster. Some days it’s been good and other days it’s been lousy. I can’t do a lunch break visit because the service is painfully slow. Evenings are better but the atmosphere is not that great. The one thing that keeps me going back though, is the food. This particular visit I had the curried goat with rice and peas. The goat has always been cooked tender with lots of flavour but at times, you may end up with more bones than meat…and who wants that?

The food and the service was fantastic. Thank you very much to the Da House of Jerk staff. Everything tasted so good, I’ll be ordering again. I forgot to take a picture of the banana pecan cake. It was good. I also ordered the Jerk Pork a few nights before also very tasty. Sorry I have no picture of that.

The food was AMAZING and well worth the price. Well seasoned and spicy like I like. I got a nice portion for the cost. It's a bar lounge setup. Roomy inside. The music was good also.Our server was really nice. I will definitely be going back for some sea food.

Their Philly cheese steak was so good I don't even know what to say. It was like a mouthgasm. I was literally like sharing a romantic experience with this steak sandwich.

This is the exact same order but "two different chef". I need consistency with my food. Id really hate to give 1 star because the staff with the exception of the manager is super nice n very professional. The most professional jamaican restaurant, again with the exception of the owner. Spent $40 for tht meal n was expecting the 1 on the right, like ive got b4. Only to get bs n the only explanation was different chef.

No thank you. Jan 15 the Chicken soup was pure liquid.0 meat. Got a few little bones. Surprised they even sold that to a customer.

I bought this grilled salmon on October 24th 2021 got home getting ready to eat only to get this disappointment . I paid $31.00 for this little piece of salmon. I never ate it. Dropped it back the same way at the restaurant. Do you think this is worth my $31.00? VERY DISAPPOINTED ......

The food was amazing!!! I'm a foodie and I tried several different mealand my favorite is definitely the brownstew fish, the lobster and shrimp combo was also delicious. wasn't a fan too much of the seafood combo as it was a hit or or missed situation. But other than that the service was amazing and I will be going back for another experience.

Staff is rude, prices are too high, food sucks..will never punish myself by eating from there again.Food: 1/5
