Walking in here feels a little bit walking back in time. There's very much a 1950s/60s diner feel as you walk in. The menu itself is very dense. If there's a dessert you remember having as a kid? Or even dreaming about as a kid? This place has got you covered.nnOur service was excellent, always very important to me. Being greeted as we walk in and checked on as everything is proceeding is A customer service standard, not always followed all places.nnNext up is the food quality, and oh my goodness, was it fantastic! We came in with a group for my birthday and sampled a bunch of desserts, and we can't recommend them enough. We were also able to order a chocolate milkshake for one of my more... Shall we say... Discerning guests, and despite it not being on the menu, they were able to make it for us. No problem.nnWe will absolutely be coming back here.
If you are reading this, stop what you are doing and drive to D Spot. This is without a doubt my new go to spot in Lethbridge. The atmosphere, food, and service from Charanjeet was over the top. The atmosphere has the feel of a classic diner while the smell of the desserts and food makes you hungry. The burger was thick, made fresh from ground beef and with fresh toppings. The sausages had that perfect snap and bite to them. The chicken sandwich came with a sweet, tangy, and smokey chipotle sauce that I could have taken home a jar of. Chicken tenders were crispy and made from white meat. Don’t even get me started on the desserts.. we did not know where to start. The milk shakes were flavourful and fun. The strawberry sundae was large enough for two and had layers upon layers of toppings and syrup throughout. The pictures do not lie on the menu as you get exactly what you order. Top notch place and I’m glad to have it in Lethbridge. PS we had to take a slice of the cheesecake home for later as we just HAD to try to. We will be back over and over until we can try it all.
Updated: stopped by again for some dessert, got the hazelnut cheesecake, delicious!my wife also got a tea. Love the decor and colours, staff were very friendly.nnStopped for dessert after a movie. Tons of options, maybe too many. I had a strawberry cheesecake tornado. The ice cream was very good quality, service was great. Prices are a little in the higher range, but again the quality seemed to also be high.
Menu is huge and takes a bit to get through. Bright, colorful atmosphere. Friendly staff but took over an hour to get food with only 2 other table occupied at the time. If Willy Wonka opened a Coras it would look like this. Love all the little details like the cake and macaroon lights, chocolate drip ceiling and and chocolate bar wall.
Food was really good and came out fast. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant too, the colours are really nice and I love the art. Lots of variety with the food and very friendly staff!
