So excited this place opened up in Milton. My home town! So close to home is dangerous . Amazing location with other restaurants in its premises. The cashier I think is the owner was very generous. We ordered 'dream come true' waffle. Fresh made waffles with a huge piece of delicious brownie to top it up. It normally comes with vanilla ice cream but we added rocky road ice cream instead.
Just had Cookie Monster funnel cake and a strawberry cheesecake twisted tornado, they were both amazing!!! So glad we have such a great dessert place in Milton! A quick treat, special occasion, just plain craving something sweet this is the place to go! Don’t mind the picture looking like a mess, that’s what happens when you can’t stop eating it!
Service was good, but I am flabbergasted at the quality of dessert at this location. I've attached a picture of the same exact dessert strawberry shortcake from the Mississauga location and then one from the Milton one I had today-- The difference is clearly astronomical. For the same price, the Mississauga location offers scoops of ice cream, better presentation, strawberries, and real plates and cutlery. Likewise, the actually texture and flavour of the cake was not as good either. Honestly very very disappointed and will not be returning again! If you want real D Spot, go to Mississauga instead :/
Happy to have a dessert spot in Milton now. Staff is pleasant and portions are big. Funnel Cake fries are a personal favourite and I enjoyed my Fererro Roche milkshake. Will be back to try a waffle
Fantastic service and explanation of products. Loved every bite of my funnel cake. Be warned, huge portion I wasn't able to finish!! We Needed this in Milton!
It was my first time at a D-spot dessert place. The store ambience and different categories of menu items looked great. Wanted to give a try with their Belgian milk chocolate milkshake. The recipe itself isn’t that good. Didn’t like it at all with all the grounded chocolate coffee beans suspended into thin vanilla liquid. A regular fast food chain’s milkshake tastes far better than it at its price point. Saying that, I should try the other items from their menu to make a better judgement. Would visit them again at some point and try other shakes or twisted tornadoes, etc.
Here's some sweet news for all you folks who live in Milton!! @dspot the hugely popular spot for desserts has opened its door in Miton.. YAY!! The Instagram-worthy dishes make for a perfect place to hangout with friends, an exciting spot to bring the kids, or just to satisfy all of your cravings in one place. My favourite had to be the Funnel Poutine. Yes you read that right!! The Fudge & Caramel concoction had crispy funnel cake fries, brownies, belgium milk callets, marshmallows, fudge & caramel sauce and a side of icecream as well.. Like how delicious does this sound & trust me I definitely over indulged. The Milton location offers only the dessert menu & has everything dessert you can imagine like milkshakes, waffles, crepes, cakes & much more. Dpot Milton is the place to be for best desserts.. Go indulge!!
I like it - the Waffle was great and the milkshake was fantastic - and the young man who took our order was sweet. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the fact that they really should have more than 1 person on at a time. It certainly wasn’t the workers fault - about 6 ppl walked in at once and he had to make some complicated orders so it took him about 30 minutes to get ours out and we were the first ones there.
The spot is nice and clean but depending on when you go, it could get very busy. The portions are very large. The more expensive the item, the larger it will be. So be mindful. Items are relatively more expensive than other desert spots.
This place was absolutely amazing, there are so many amazing things on the menu! We got a my crepe ate your brownie, Waleed was absolutely very helpful and super kind when we were deciding on what to get, and he also made sure our order was out to us right away within 4-5 minutes. Will definitely come back here because of the amazing service :
