Great spot, staff was super nice especially our server Fatima. Food comes out fairly quickly and everyone is moved and cleaned off the table with good speed. Super chill, good spot for a sweet snack, that’s what brings me back here so often!Food: 5/5
The dessert is very delicious, very nice that they are open so late for dine in. We came here as a group and everyone loved it. I personally was a fan of the white chocolate brownie. The lotus cookie milkshake was pretty good too. The servers were very friendly and efficient as well. Overall great place for any time of day.
Had an amazing lunch at D Spot! While the menu is heavier on the desserts, they do have a nice selection of savoury meals! We had some of the burgers and they were amazing. Ash was very attentive and when we had a slight issue with one of our burgers, she was quick and went above and beyond to get it fixed. Desserts are great…be prepared to bring some stretchy pants…lol. Will be coming back soon!
My friends and I were looking for a dessert restaurant and we stumbled upon D Spot. It did not disappoint! We loved the whole vibe and atmosphere. When we arrived we waited 5 min to be seated, but I can definitely tell you to call and reserve if coming later as we noticed they are open until 2AM! It was busy when we left and a small line was forming. The menu was like a storybook and with each flip of the page you are awed by the multitude of different desserts offered! We couldn't decide. We opted out by ordering several items and shared so we could taste each dessert. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious and the ice cream smooth. The Red Velvet Cheese Cake with a side of vanilla ice cream was out of this world and the rich Chocolate Cake was smooth and spectacular. We definitely will be back to check out the Waffle offerings.
Wow. Oh wow! This is a very unique experience. Would be perfect for birthday parties. It’s beautiful and very pink. The menu is the most extensive dessert menu I have ever seen. The staff were great and friendly and our server Natasha was very personable and attentive. Highly recommend
Our server Luna was so sweet and polite! it was our first time at the cafe and our experience was relaxing and not to mention so delicious! The food is clean and served promptly, the portions are also huge for such an affordable price. A beautiful cafe, with lots of lounge space and a vibrant atmosphere! My first time visiting D Spot, my wife and I tried a dark hot chocolate and a Belgium cheesecake. Both were delicious! The hot chocolate was quite tasty but not super rich, which was a pleasant discovery as the cake was quite decadent. It is a loud atmosphere both from chatter and the music, great for having a fun time out or masking an intimate/private conversation. Maddie was an awesome server who was very attentive and friendly. Her pleasant demeanor added to the experience. Thank you!
The decor is so cute and vibrant, the music is very upbeat, the entire atmosphere is just great! Had an awesome time! And our server Prabh was lovely, very personable and we had a great time chatting with her. =
I wish I could arrange a boycott for this restaurant. I ordered the “Hidden gem” I wish it was hidden on their menu cause it was terrible. For starters their serving size is just bad. For 26$ you get one brownie wrapped inside one crepe four strawberries and half a banana which would of been fine if it tasted good, which it didn’t, crepe was chewy and the brownie tasted like it came out of a frozen microwaveable box from Walmart and the ‘scoop’ of ice cream idek what to say about that. I think I would’ve been more satisfied by a KitKat even if I had to pay $26 for it. I’ve had Dspot many times hoping it gets better but no, just seems to get more expensive each time with lower quality deserts. No clue how they have 4.8 stars from 6k reviews. HOWEVER their waffles are usually the ONLY decent thing.
A rare lovely date spot in Edmonton that you can go to until midnight! You can have both sweet and savoury foods and share together. The decor and lighting is bright and cheerful, I think it contrasts well with Edmonton’s cold harsh winter. We had a blue lagoon mojito, a buneo waffle with hazelnut ice cream and pistachio ice cream crepe. I would not recommend the pistachio ice cream and would not add the white chocolate on top. But the waffle and crepe were good. The drink was decent. Overall, although a bit pricey, I would come back to try different items. I think it’s a great place to bring someone who you’re trying to impress. Very pretty location for photos and to share dessert after dinner.
