Interesting spot to learn about blue in their importance in the region . Short guided tour in the shop followed by excellent product tasting led by Silvestre. Entertaining and knowledgeable visit, it really helped us understanding the product and how unique is.

Great museum/store to learn about the history of the region both geologically and then more recent, of the great fire of 1870 and the discovery of the wild blueberries leading to the industry it is today. Took the $10 tasting tour which was well worth the money - tasted several variations of jams, jelly, chutney, syrups and of course, a slice of blueberry pie! A must stop for any bicyclist on the route! Also has tools and bike racks outside

La visite au economusee est possible en anglais et francais. The visit is possible in English thanks to bilingual guides. I visited with four friends from Ontario and Virginia in July, just at the beginning of the fresh blueberry season and the cycling season. It is a wonderful place to learn about blueberry cultivation and the history of why blueberries came to be such a large industry in Lac-St-Jean. A warm and friendly reception, a great presentation and discussion, and an amazing tasting session. It is a lovely building with places to picnic and rest whether on bike or in camper. Nous sommes partis avec une tarte au bleuet - ce que nous avons chauffe au chalet le lendemain. Miaaaaam. I congratulate Judy and her team.

Stopped in on our cycle along the Véloroute for a coffee and a warm slice of blueberry pie. Delicious and enjoyed the outdoor seating out front.

Family traveller gifted us jar of Organic Wild Blueberry and Maple jam - very good, bit runny in a good way. Lots of blueberries
