The owner is a wonderful helpful woman. Thank you for making my trip so special. Meaford Ontario is a small picturesque town.
I found this shop by chance while in Meaford. I've never seen anything like it, and I've been to a LOT of antique/collectibles shops all over Ontario. The sheer volume alone is mind boggling! The lady who owns it was very helpful and knowledgeable. Like items are grouped together and displayed nicely. If you are collecting something...anything!...I'm sure you will find it here. An amazing shop
My girlfriend and I were on a road trip up the Peninsula and had planned to stop at a bunch of cool little shops along the way. It had started to rain when we had reached the shop in Meaford and the moment we walked in the vibe was extremely uncomfortable. We continued to look around, trying to stay positive on our trip, but then the owner began yelling at a man about already paying him for something. Argued, very loudly for a couple of minutes. We continued through the store and was brought to an abrupt halt and basically thrown out of the store, very rudely, by the lady, who seemed to be the manager/owner, telling us that they can't help that they can only do things on certain days and can only go into certain sections, while waving her hands in our faces to turn around and go the other way. We walked right out and pledged to never return. Worst experience I've ever had in a small town shop. Bye. Also, no where in my review did I say what time or date I was at your location. I don't know how you could've looked at your cameras if you had no clue when I was even there. Should probably own up to the way you treated potential customers. I also didn't say the man worked there, he was dropping off items and demanding payment. Sounded like you were lying to him just as much as you lie to yourself.
Recently stopped by to sell a plate collection. Very kind and knowledgable owner who also made many recommendations as to what we can do while in the area. Store is being upgraded and has many neat items for sale!
Extremely rude. Didn't even say hi. Just told us to move out of the way a couple times. Extremely bad vibes. Never asked us if we needed assistance. Two very old. Very rude people.
Lots of cool finds in here! They also appear to be expanding. You can also speak with them if you're looking to sell old items on consignment
