Absolutely amazing!!!! I went in clueless and came out more knowledgeable thanks to their amazingly helpful staff!!! And now I know where I'm going to go to make my bicycle investment. I can't say enough about how awesome the experience was!!! Well done guys!!!!

I purchased my Giant Rapid earlier on during the course of the year and have been meaning to write a proper review for sometime now. Service: Everyone from the owner to the sales team know their stuff. I really appreciated the time/energy that was spent on getting fit/sized for my bike. As a consumer, I am pretty vocal about anything that I am not completely "ok" with and they were accommodating every step of the way. Pricing: Based on my homework, I think they are pretty competitive. Accessories are at par with online prices or sometimes cheaper. Unlike my girlfriend, I prefer to touch something before I buy it. Selection/Quality: I have ridden well over 500km on my bike since May and I haven't had any problems. Most of the basic components on my bike have been upgraded between now and then (saddle, peddles, mud guard...etc.) and I haven't had any issues with the third party stuff either. I have checked out most of the "real" bike shops between Toronto and Burlington and as you can probably tell, I am a fan. Highly recommend this place.

After having 2 bikes stolen, I went to Cyclemotive to find replacements and get back on the road. Initial service from sales seemed good, but that quickly slowed and worsened after deposits were paid and my hands were tied to carry on with the transaction (due to it being an insurance claim). Response time and customer service steadily declined throughout the process, culminating in me having to write a very pointed email outlining all of the issues with the bikes that were now in my possession. The email found its way to manager who, when I went in to meet with him and have the issues resolved, patronized me by asking if "writing that email made me feel better?". Needless to say, I vehemently recommend my friends (and strangers) take their business elsewhere. Even if I got a flat right outside of their shop, I'd still walk to the next closest shop before I bought a tube from them. If you are brave enough to purchase a bike from them, I recommend checking everything thoroughly before you actually go for a ride. The number of loose bolts/nuts and poorly assembled pieces on both of the bikes we bought was staggering. To this day, I'm still reminded of their poor service/customer care by the seam in my rim (that shudders every time I brake) because they didn't care to replace the one that came on my bike. Would not recommend.

I had amazing service from Vince here. Was planning a bike trip and got a flat tire on my way out of the city. Not only did Vince fix the flat but he also checked out the safety of our entire operation and was kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely be coming back here. Thank you Cyclemotive!!

I attempted to bring my bike to Cyclemotive for repair. I live and work in the neighbourhood and wanted to support local. This is not my first negative experience with Cyclemotive. I felt I should give it another chance. They really need to improve their customer service skills here. It may be a high-end bike shop, but their customer service really STINKS. It's appalling how bad it is. As soon as I entered the shop, I was met with horrible customer service. I was told immediately that they would not touch my bike and did not offer any helpful solutions or suggestions. The staff member I was dealing was condescending, curt and downright rude. As an owner and worker of a retail business, this was completely unacceptable. I would not want any of my staff to be representing my shop in this manner. The owner should be embarrassed at how their shop is being represented. I took my business somewhere else and will DEFINITELY NOT be coming back or recommending Cyclemotive.
