This place is amazing! My mom and I ordered a large order and the owner Jim was amazing and very helpful! Beautiful cuts and great bang for your buck. Very professional and responsive. He did everything he could to make sure we were happy and our hard-earned money was respectfully spent. Nothing but amazing things to say about this butcher shop! The driver did a wonderful job to let us know when he was coming and and we will definitely be coming back for all of our meat needs in the future.
Jimmy, Amanda, and the rest of the group at Cut Rite Meats offer an amazing product at a great price. The box of 10 ribeyes is a great deal and the steaks are excellent quality. Jimmy goes above and beyond to guarantee 100% satisfaction. Highly recommend this place!
Not Disappointed, This was my first time ordering a side of beef instead of buying my meat from the grocery store. My ignorance came into play as I first thought that I was getting a really fatty order, but after a call from Jim, he explained how meats & fats relate to each other and how I need to ask for extra lean cuts if wanted. I ordered a quarter side of beef back in February of this year. We have had one or two cuts that gave me a first impression of a fatty cut, but after it was explained to me that fat does not necessarily = bad, and that it helps with not only flavour but tenderness, my mind was put at ease. The ground beef is where I do like it lean and I did not order it that way so it is like regular ground beef. The stew meat is good, I have used an instant for mine and it really tenderizes the meat to the point it falls off the bone, still more fat than preferred but that was my bad for not ordering a lean cut. Staff were very nice and professional.
I have been going to see Cut Rite Meats for the past 4/5 years now. The prices are always better than other places in Calgary , and I much prefer their packaging over others, as the products stay more fresh for longer, which is huge for a single mom! On top of that, the staff is fabulous to deal with, which makes things so much easier and keeps us coming back.
Amanda was very good and walked me through what needed done and waited for us to arrive for pickup. The only problem we had was the eggs didn't get put in the box. they did a preliminary contact just awaiting the outcome. They came through and we picked up the eggs with no issues
Well I tried the Ribeye steak from here and it was delicious. It’s my first time having grass fed beef and wow what a difference. Melted in my mouth compared to the Ribeye from Costco. Also the marbling on it was fantastic. Really good fat content. Amanda the manager was very kind and helpful. I will be back.
Everything I received was good except for the chicken. It is really dry and feels rubbery when you chew on it. I'm disappointed with the chicken. HI I'm Lisa, Linda's daughter, I'm the one who eats the chicken and I've tried baked, and even Boiled it was still rubbery thanks for your response but it was much worse than you say I will say, however, the beef roast is immaculate one of the best possible during these hard times in the future IF we decide to order again, I will substitute the chicken for more hamburger the hamburger is so delicious thank you Cut Rite Meats have a wonderful day
Great service from Jim the owner, very good quality meat……. He also made a point of greeting me and my wife, and introduced himself, very nice …… We will be returning customers. We purchased a side of beef, all vacuum packed awesome . Today march 12 got delivered chicken and eggs, owsome product and delivered in time….. 100% will return and shop at cutrite meats
They were very busy, but the gentleman working made a point of getting through the line as quickly as possible, and apologizing for the wait. Excellent and very friendly customer service and great products! Will definitely be back again. Thank you!
Excellent service! I was looking for a smaller cut of brisket. The nice lady at the counter recommended for me to pre-order on their website. So I did and go the perfect cut of meat!! Thank you Cut Rite Meats!! I get to feed my parents my aunt and my wife and 2 kids with this!!!
