Beautiful place, especially to write a novel or two.
Great place to learn about the wildlife author Oliver Curwood. A very interesting building. You wouldn’t expect to see a “castle” in a small Midwest town. The local organization has done a great job keeping it up and informative. Worth the $5.
Beautiful little castle right by the river. Wish google would’ve specified they aren’t open year round but that’s beside the review.

Couldn't go in, due to the current epidemic, but the grounds were beautiful and the castle very impressive. Such a classic feel, couples with a fairy tale ambiance.
A special place! 23 years ago, we had wedding photos taken at the Castle. Now, my kids enjoy riding bikes to Castle & looking for painted rocks.
