An excellent place for artist material! With prices that are as good and in most cases better than other arts and crafts stores I have been too. They also carry some harder to find materials and components. I highly recommend Curry's for anything involving drawing or sculpture of any kind.

They have everything you could wish for,all at reasonable prices. I went today to purchase some Somerset paper. Paper is important to me, so yea I drove 20km out of the way to get my Somerset at Curry's. Their somerset is the cheapest in this part of the gta (I don't remember Above Ground's pricing) and it is properly stored so that it does not get damaged or tainted in any way. Something that is very important when you are paying almost $7 a sheet. When I went today they were out of the large plastic bags, but were kind enough to get some scrap papers to protect the paper I bought. The employees are great, the space is well organized and overall it was a great experience. I will definitly be going back. It is definitly worth the drive.

The awesome thing about Curry's is the staff, which makes me think the ownership treats people well. you can't find people this happy, this friendly and this helpful unless they are working with people who are also great. If you think the flagship shop on Queen West might be a bit intimidating from the über artist levels therein, this shop is going to be a better shop for you, it is indeed a bit more laid back, per se. Curry's just moved to Dundas from The Queensway and is now slightly further east than it was.... The new location has implemented the interior design styles and design queues of the downtown store, which is open and bright and airy and very superior to the old location which had low ceilings...

My saviour for all my art projects. The staffs are friendly and extremely helpful... I couldn't thank them enough. I'm a total noob in art materials and they helped me with selecting the right paper and tools to use. This store is a bit small compared to the old one but hey, it's a lot closer to my place.

I have been going to this store since I was a kid. I'm 60 now so that will tell you how long Curry's has been at this location. I got all my supplies there for school and when I became a commercial artist. The staff is very knowledgeable and efficient. They always have what I need and believe me that's a big plus.
