Don't waste time at big box craft stores. Curry's is a place for quality art supplies at a variety of price points. Their staff are very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I've been shopping here for over 25 years - since studying art at university.
This store is sad because shelves are empty. I hope they don’t close down. Their staff are just AMAZING! Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful!
great selection on the acrylic & oil paint , medium, gesso and canvas etc. very friendly staff, price is good, definitely recommend this place

Like trying to buy art supplies in an impoverished soviet bloc. Why are their shelves always empty? Its been years I've been forced to go here, just because its basically the only art store in Hamilton -- I wish it was better
I expected tight parking situation but it's not too bad. Staff is very helpful and knew exactly what to recommend for my very specific sketchbook requirements... I went in summer 2020 right after reopening and they had proper COVID protocols.
