We went out on lunch today. The food was tasty and delicious. We ordered shahi paneer, roti chilli naan and a chicken dish for a friend. For starters we ordered samosa chat and momos. Chat samosa was altogather different as they gave two samosa two chutney tamarid and green plus curd. Momos were delicious must try if you are around with their spicy chutney. Food quantity was also ample for 1 person to finish it we finished it all in 4 people to avoid food wastage. Overall a nice indian restaurant to have that quick bite of our spice.
All the food we ordered was excellent! All were so delicious & tasted fresh!! It was my first time trying Indian chai tea wo milk, wo sugar and I LOVED IT! I tasted so many spices in the tea. I have to mention about their Lamb Korma..! Wow! One of the best Lamb Korma I’ve tried so far. Sauce was very creamy & the meat was so soft! We enjoyed it so much!! Our server female was really nice as well P.S.: There was a suv in the parking lot stuck in the snow when we arrived at the restaurant. As we pulled in, the cooks were helping the driver, out of a snow whole. I told the story because I felt like that was a really heartfelt gesture Summary: GOOD PEOPLE, GOOD FOOD
Went here for the first time since it's one of the few "Halal" restaurants in Kalamazoo area. Orders lamb biryani and some Papri chaat. The biryani was anything but a traditional biryani. It was more like zeera rice with lamb. Although it tasted good in it's own way. The Chat was decent as well. All safety measures are being undertaken for Covid-19. Would definitely go back and try some of their other dishes. If you are craving for some Indian food then its a good place to stop by for dine-in or take out considering it's one of the only three Indian restaurants in Kalamazoo/Portage area.
Gave a 3 star on Service food took longer than usual But food Definitely worth the wait! Delicious!Food: 5/5
I'd love to record our memorable bittersweet experience at this place. We stopped here for dinner on our way to Chicago. Because Chicago was still miles away, we wanted it to be a quick stop. Never underestimate Murphy's laws - we ended with the exact opposite. The moment we entered, all tables were occupied except one. We assumed it might still be fine so we decided for the table service. Bad call. They were quick in serving water and taking our order but that's when the excruciating wait started. We ordered only main course. This place and their kitchen is not set up to handle the gargantuan volume of customers occupying all 8 tables!! After placing order, we waited and waited and waited. They decided to first serve only appetizers. We didn't realize this until we observed this pattern with the orders emerging from the kitchen. However, so naive of us that we still dreamed with yearning eyes that perhaps the next one coming out of the kitchen could be ours; just wait and perhaps the next set of plates might march towards our table. But no, the universe conspired against us. As we ogled plates after plates with waiters teasing us by darting towards us only to deflect at the end, our hopes vanished altogether. After spending one hour with no luck, now we faced the biggest dilemma - leave now for Chicago with empty growling stomachs or keep waiting just in case our luck shines. We decided to leave, the restaurant saw us leaving, and our stars changed. Then came out the grand genuine hospitality; the winged restaurant owner with a circular halo ensured the kitchen's only goal now will be to serve us. They did comply, we chomped maniacally. Do not remember and cannot assuredly say if the food was actually delicious or if our hunger and desperation distorted our buds. But we do remember that we left satiated with only smiles on our faces.
Delicious, and they offered free dessert! The only thing they were missing is music!Recommended dishesButter Chicken
Taste of Momo is slightly different, I liked it. I have eaten similar momo in some of kathmandu restaurants. The tea was mediocre. Overall good experience. would recommend this place.
Food was delightful, the server was very nice and helpful and the place is cozy.Food: 5/5
A very small shop on a busy street. The menus is long and offers so many choices I was a bit intimidated. We started with some garlic naan which was an amazing choice. We ordered a chicken curry spice level 5 of 10 and the flavor was amazing. The meat is prepared perfectly and their lamb I'd order again. Like I said so many choices and I'm excited to try them again. Pro tip, if you're sensitive to spicy food, order the yogurt.
The lady at the register is not very friendly. I have ordered pick-up 2 times and been told 45 minutes and it takes well over a hour and a half. For bland food it's definitely not worth the wait. I might be back if the customer service gets better
