I ate here for the first time and it was awesome fantastic beverages a great selection of tea and the menu is outstanding. The price range is phenomenal. Alot of bang for your buck and the restaurant it self is family run. I highly recommend eating here if you like spicy or not it is my best Indian cuisine experience so far in BC. Passing through Castlegar. Glad we did and found this place. The fish pakora is FANTASTIC. Lightly deep fried to perfection. The chutney....OMG...perfect for the pakora. Rogan Josh was amazing. Hidden gem in Castlegar. Have to eat here again when in town.Food: 4/5

I had an amazing visit last night to The Cuisine of India in Castlegar. I was so impressed with the service and atmosphere in this small BC town. The lassi drinks were sweet, I had the best veggie Samosas ever. Their mint and tamarind sauces for samosas were chilled and perfectly blended. Roti bread, pulau rice, and spicy lamb saag were all done to perfection. If you are looking for authentic, well made, and delicious Indian food, visit this location. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about dishes you aren’t familiar with, the staff was very very helpful!
Very tasty dishes and great portion size. Worth the money! We tried the lamb and butter chicken: both were delicious.
I recently had the pleasure of Pam and her team catering an event of mine. The food was amazing and staff, very professional. I was grateful to share cuisine of India with my family and friends! One of the best places to eat in castlegar by far. Their vegetarian and gluten free options are out of this world : keep up the good work - C
This is one of our favourite places to dine in and take out! The food is always consistently great, portions are large, prices are reasonable, and staff are pleasant. One of the best all-around restaurants in Castlegar, in my opinion.
Good Service, Delicious Authentic Indian Food, loved the option to pack remaining food on our plates for later. Vegetarian options: Best in Trail, Nelson and Castlegar. Need more Fast Food options example Pav Bhaji and Kathi Roll. Parking: Comfortable
