We gave this place a try as Makenzie’s was closed even though google said they were open. We chatted with one of the servers for a while.. I think it was Sydney married with a 15 yr girl, she was awesome and delightful. For the food itself, we got a calzone and two double dough pizzas because we never seen that option before. About 40 mins later we got our pizza and were kinda just bleh about it. One of the toppings asked for got put on the wrong pizza and the Alfredo pizza needed more sauce. Underwhelmed for the amount we paid ~ $25-$30+ per item.
We went to this place in Belgrade over the weekend, and it was surprisingly not busy at all. It’s located where the old MacRiv used to be with cafe m across the hall and ressler across the road. 2.5/5 stars. Service was strange. We stood at the front door for several minutes waiting to be seated without anyone greeting us. There were only a couple occupied tables. Felt rushed the entire meal. The food was split. Pizza was Ike a freschetta and bread was a hoagie cut down the center and toasted. Wings were way to small for the price and lacking flavor. Salads were … ok. However, the steamed mussels with lemon capri were outstanding! Light sauce and packed with flavor. Tangy and refreshing. 5/5 and will reorder if we ever return. Our pasta dish was similar with a great al dente cook. Would prefer fresh parm and cracked pepper. Interesting place to stop if you’re looking for some non-pizza Italian options. Just don’t expect a great atmosphere or outstanding service.
The service is poor. We have ordered 45 minutes ago and have still not received our food. The appetizers we did get were still delayed and over priced. We spent over 11 dollars for 5 small cheese Pattie’s. Not worth it. Go to Bar 3 Barbecue instead.
Incredible service and amazing food! It’s a shame I can only give them 5 stars! Make a reservation though. They are busy! Renae was amazing.
This was our first experience at Cugino's. We ordered a large take out order. I've rated it 4 stars due to the resolution and courtesy provided by the restaurant upon receiving our order. Our order took quite a while, despite a given pick up time. Some of the items were incorrect and some of the items/dishes were sub par. The restaurant was very kind to refund our order and offer us a gift card for future use. I appreciate keeping business local and I believe in second chances so will be trying them again!
Came in for dinner and was take back to my childhood in New Haven CT. This is truly authentic and was absolutely amazing!! Jose the cook came out and checked on all of the guests with genuine love and kindness and Emily was patient and kind while everyone took time to look through the menu to decide. I Highly recommend this restaurant!! If I could give it 6 stars I would! Thank you!
It's a great little place with simple price points. Hence, the 5 stars. No doubt, there are fancier Italian restaurants with higher end ingredients, but the food here is very good. It was an old MacKenzie River Pizza restaurant, so don't mind the log decor. Like everywhere, they're short staffed, but hustle their butts off. This is a great place to eat and nice to be able to get away from what Bozeman has become. 100% eat here!
No check up services. Drinks were never refilled. Appetizers are over priced. The food is extremely late. We are talking 45 minutes plus here people. Don’t bother. Or if you do tell them you would like better service. If 0 stars were an option…
First visit and we’ll be back! We had Shrimp Scampi and the Italian Hogie. Wow!! The Pasta side salad was superb as was the side Caesar. I don’t think you would be disappointed were you to give them a try. I can’t wait to try their pizza or the calzone. Parking: Lots of parking!
Local must have! Everything about this place is SO good! Their portions are big and enough for left overs, if you manage to not scarf it down, their tiramisu though.. is phenomenal!! The inside has the cutest decor and the whole staff are so friendly and make you feel like you’re family, can’t wait to try everythinggg! Parking: Easily accessible and plenty of room.
